I still can't believe that mistakenly opening an IDE once, with ZERO intent of cheating, while the game was running can get 2 years of playtime, three characters and ton of hours and money invested on this game PERMANENTLY banned.
No temporary ban. Simply a Permanent ban. No means to dispute such ban. Simply accept it and eat up your sense of helplessness.
I hope Bungie takes a look at this PERMANENT BAN policy and make it more fair. Specially for players who were not running a cheat engine, bots, applications that are meant to cheat or doing network manipulation that impacted other player's experience.
The fact that I didn't cheat, but still got a permanent ban makes it harder to believe.
This sucks!

But you got what you deserve

Are you a game developer? If not, there was no reason to have an IDE open when playing. You were suspected of cheating and breaking their terms, accept the punishment and get on with your life.
-
Don’t care to know what IDE is but sounds like an offense that deemed you were cheating, buh bye!
-
What the heck is an IDE?
-
You agreed to the license agreement. You broke that agreement you opened the IDE. So who is to blame?

if you didnt cheat and got a ban, call bungie support or a lawyer, if you cheated and just complain here about a ban, get lost
