What refresh rate does your monitor have? If its 60hz and your graphics card is pumping out more fps than that, it is probably screen tearing. You can test that by turning v sync on. If it fixes the problem, that was it.

My theory is just all the particle effect going on in the crucible.

Bearbeitet von AendettV: 8/14/2019 10:39:43 PMYour rig is very close to mine. The only difference is I use a gtx 1660ti card. I'm about to play a match if I can scrounge up some good weapons (all my good toys are on PS4!). Just curious to see what happens now. Edit: I use 1080p resolution.

It’s a 144hrtz monitor. My average frame rate is 125-140fps. Every other activities in D2 works fine like it should. Entering crucible seem to just goes downhill on FPS. Staggering to 60 FPS to as low as 20 FPS.

Gotcha. Crucible is the one thing that I don't really play on my PC account, so honestly I don't know how the game is affected when loading into a match. I'll have to give it a go. You could try to run NZXT CAM or even Task Manager in a window just to get an idea of what's happening with your CPU, SSD, and RAM when you load in. You could also go to Video settings and look at your VRAM usage. That's all the easy stuff I can think of.

I’ll see what’s going on there in a couple of hours. Thanks for the help!

I just played 2 matches of Quickplay, and was getting about 130 fps on average.

Oof must be nice

That's on 1080p though, and I'm not that good of a player, so it's kind of a waste.😂
