Can you please summarize this in four words for me.
Also a bit of advice. No one is going to read this novel. Keep it short and sweet. Only include the most relevant parts. Delve deeper into it when people comment

Also he seems to be one of the "Hunters can't one-shot, therefore bad" people, and he's doing so by comparing Titan melees and Warlock grenades to... Hunter dodges? Idk why he's comparing two damage dealing abilities to a dodge

If you would have read my opening post you would of know, but I’ll reiterate. Bungie had grenades as the center focus for warlocks and melees for titans and class ability for hunters. Grenades for warlocks have been heavily buffed and melees for titans as well. Dodged have stayed the same. Understand? My main point In The thread was to give BUNGIE Feedback about how titans can increase damage and warlocks as well but hunters could what... jump... that’s it. This is what people get upset about. Hunters jump. Lackluster exotics and no damage buff. Yet warlock grenades can one shot with no penalty to utilize and titans can shoulder charge you even off the air.

That’s because grenades were, and still are, pretty weak. The only good warlock grenades are arc web nades, which doesn’t even really count, and supercharged void grenades, which is literally part of the skill tree, unlike a dodge that’s free to all subclasses. And Titan Shoulder Charge not doing 200 damage was dumb. Absolutely worthless. What were Titans to do, shoot someone to weaken them and then shoulder charge? There’s a reason those were both buffed. And besides, dodge is still amazing, despite its very deserved nerf. You eliminate all enemy AA during a dodge and can use it to go any direction, even if you’re sliding or landing from a jump. Dodge-centered exotics are absolutely amazing, and autoreloading your weapon or melee Charge is so strong. Plus, you do not put enough value in Hunter jumps. They are so much better than the other classes, and Stompees makes your directional control and height virtually broken. Hunters might not have as powerful space magic, but you slippery -blam!- are unbelievably maneuverable, making you the clear best class for Crucible. If Warlocks or Titans use their abilities, we have to wait. You can bunny hop for ages

Careful, that's logic. Some people don't like logic.
-
Like, Hunters can 1 shot tho. Liars handshake is becoming even more popular now lol

bUt YoU gEt ShOtGuNnEd So EaSy WhEn YoU mElEe. Yes, tiny hunter, that’s why Shoulder Charge isn’t as OP as you say it is!
-
Yeah it's pretty fun how people think Shoulder charge is OP. Especially how easily ot is countered by all these 1 shot close range weapons lol
-
It is easy to just get an occasional SC kill, but it usually results in a trade. A skilled Shoulder Charge fiend is hard to find!

I got you. *Clears throat* Hunters bad, others overpowered Basically lol. He never considered amazing hunter exotics or the fact that their jump immediately makes them the best dueling class
-
Once I saw "hunters..." I already knew this post was going to be silly lol.

You wouldn’t happen to of read my post did you? It’s kinda long I know... but if you do maybe it’d make more sense.

Hey LoneHunter76 Honestly I was being hopeful bungie would somehow read it, I didn’t really think anyone else would. If I had to summarize (which is kinda hard) I would say that hunters have nothing to increase lethality, and the reason that’s an important point is because There are three abilities in D2 now with each class centered around one of them. Sandbox update increased grenade damage (Warlock grenades have multikill one shot potential) Melee have gotten stronger (Titan can one shot shoulder charge) And Class abilities are... the same. The speed of hunter dodge seems slower than in D1, and unchanged since year 1 in D2. With a slower TTK in year 1 survivability was more viable during dodge animation but with all the increased lethality of class focused abilities, the Hunter focused ability has stayed the same making them underwhelming. Some would argue that Hunters get melee ability back with gamblers but hunter melee are not top tier either. I went in to much more depth and reasons why with class ability comparison and how this has actually narrowed down Hunter player behavior to stompees and a shotgun. And even included examples of dodge ability buff at the end to make it an equivalent to the huge grenade and melee ability buffs given to the other classes. Thanks for stopping by and sorry this was so long winded.

It always surprises me. Hunters seen underwhelming, and yet, they remain the most used class in PvP. Honestly when I play on my hunter, I go better last word (top tree Goldie) with tripmine. The knife has potential to hit around walls with its explosion. And occasionally I pull a cammycakes and shoot my tripmine out of the air. Hunter movement feels good with the last word. Jumping over people and hip firing with last word is not only effective, but fun. I always do enjoy playing on my hunter (I main titan).

I agree, Hunter movement feels good, but so do Titans which has amazing in air lateral movement that allows you to shoot without interruptions, something you can’t do with a hunter. And warlocks with astrocyte is a force to be reckoned with. The mobility and juking capabilities there are awesome. Still it’s kinda weird that Warlocks and titans can in a way do what hunters do but hunters cannot do in anyway what warlocks and titans can. Again the only things brought up in favor for hunters are movement, which at the bottom line is what I mentioned in the first post. Vertical play is annoying to experienced players who aren’t trained to look up, but means jack squat for people who do.

Bearbeitet von BadWolf: 8/8/2019 5:28:45 PMbeen playing my hunter lately for solstice armor... tried my titan in crucible and felt like and old man walking to the grocery store... so much drag... like titans have more gravity applied...
-
What’s your mobility stat and lift choice?? I’ve seen some pretty amazing speed from titans. And it’s a bit amplified on PC
-
usually high lift or catapult... was running low mobility indeed... 2 or 3...
-
You should check out how frostbolt moves... dude is insane.
-
hardcore players can do good with anything... i’m just saying hunters move so much better...
