Ok, everyone knows about swarm of the raven is the best dps weapon in the game when paired with tractor cannon and spike grenades. Is it so strong that it would need a nerf? Under normal circumstances it would make some sense to reduce something way out of line...but is it fair to grenade launchers? Grenade launchers pretty much have 2 usable perks, which are spike and proximity. Proximity got nerfed to put out lower damage numbers in both pve and in PvP because nothing else was valuable in comparison, ok that's understandable...but spike grenades just increase impact damage, of which not all of them become dps gods just because it's available. It's just like rockets and cluster bombs, where people are going to favor damage over all else in pve...but the funny thing is, is that the other perks just don't make up for what they lack in damage. I think the worst perk by far is high ordinance ggrenades. Reducing your magazine size to 3 is actual shit and the benefits for doing so are almost literally nothing. No massive blast radius increase or large increase to velocity...its almost literally nothing. But spike grenades, just grants some bonus damage and not much else and that's the problem right there. The other perks are so garbage that nobody wants them and that has to change. Simply nerfing spike grenades won't stop people from using them unless they also a big negative effect on it, which would be stupid. Bungie needs to start addressing these perks that have no real value and are there just to make sure you trash it. I get it, making certain rolls stand out is important, but shouldn't every perk have a level of value besides 3 legendary shards? Please just fix the other garbage.
