The only option now is for the Complete Collection which includes everything (including the Pass). It is the same price as it was for Forsaken alone, never mind the cost of the Pass. Therefore, for everything, it's cheaper than it was when you could buy things as separate pieces. Don't worry about he other files being included - I don't know why that is such a hangup for people.

I just want to play forsaken and not spend money on things I already own. Realistically we should be getting charged 15 dollars for forsaken alone.

So what if it's still the same price? You're also getting the annual pass thrown in for free. Realistically, you're paying less than everyone else did when Forsaken first came out so you ARE getting a discount. You don't really get to determine what that discount is supposed to arbitrarily be by a certain amount of time. And you're not spending money on things you already own. They are included for free. No matter what, you're still paying less than anyone who bought Forsaken and the annual pass on day 1 or even just 2 weeks ago.

I shouldn’t be paying the same price as people did when it first came out because it didn’t just come out, it is almost a year old. Sure it comes with the annual pass and the forsaken dlc, but those two things should be in a bundle by themselves. The fact that bungie is bundling those two things with the game itself AND the two dlcs being curse of Osiris and Warmind that they made free is outrageous why would we need to pay for those if they’re free. Do you not agree that the forsaken dlc should be sold separately as well as sold in the bundle? Why are players only being given one option of purchase? I don’t need two copies of destiny two that is absolutely pointless as a consumer and has zero value to me.

Nothing you say here will change what they're offering. I'm simply trying to explain the rationale and why you're not paying more for less, you're paying less and getting more.
I shouldn’t be paying the same price as people did when it first came out because it didn’t just come out, it is almost a year old.
They did this exact same thing with TTK in D1 before Rise of Iron, so it's nothing new.
Sure it comes with the annual pass and the forsaken dlc, but those two things should be in a bundle by themselves.
They were, but you've failed to purchase either when they were available for the past year, so that's on you. Now the only option is the complete bundle of everything, which is in fact cheaper than if you bought Forsaken and the annual pass bundled or separate. You're still getting what you want and it's cheaper.
AND the two dlcs being curse of Osiris and Warmind that they made free is outrageous why would we need to pay for those if they’re free.
You're not... they're free... You aren't paying for them no matter how you try to look at this. If the whole bundle costs $40, you can't be paying full price for Forsaken if you're also saying you're paying something for the rest. You math would prove that you're not paying full price for any of it. If you want to break it down differently, we could say you're paying $15 for the annual pass and $25 for Forsaken. Either way, you ARE getting everything free or discounted.
Do you not agree that the forsaken dlc should be sold separately as well as sold in the bundle? Why are players only being given one option of purchase?
1) You had a year to buy it when it was sold separately. If you had bought it then without the annual pass and decided to buy the pass now, you realize you'd be paying more, right? 2) They're offering everything for less than if you tried to buy Forsaken + the annual pass or were getting into D2 for the first time. 3) Because they can and have done so before, it's easier to manage one packaged offering, and it makes getting D2 more enticing for new players, which is a more important sell than upselling existing players by 1 expansion a year+ late.

  • You are getting a cheaper price , with more content. 40 bucks for the season pass and forsaken, along with the other dlcs for free. I paid 75 bucks with tax for forsaken and the season pass. You are saving 35 bucks... Wth are you complaining about? You cant just set your own price of what you want to pay for something

Sure you paired 75 dollars for it but that was because it was in its prime state in regards to content. What I am saying is that they are also charging me for destiny two the game, which I already own, and the two dlcs that are currently free in the game please tell me why us as consumers should have to feel obligated to pay 40 dollars, again our only option, to receive the forsaken dlc and the pass alongside content we already own or is otherwise already given to us for free that is undeniably ridiculous. Your telling me you don’t think we should be given other options? It is the complete and utter definition of a money trap. It is almost on par to what Bethesda is getting a lawsuit for at this very moment.

  • The bundle was introduced to make it a single point of purchase now that Year 3 (ShadowKeep) has been announced. Separately you would have needed to pay $75 for Forsaken + Pass, now you get it all for $40. Yes, it helps keep everything united with the free content, but if you wanted to play Forsaken then (or in the future with New Light) you were/are still going to have to purchase Forsaken separately, and the price is now $40 instead of $75, that's all. Forsaken is an entire year of content and is the current year of content. It's not old, in fact the latest season just released as part of the pass. You're not paying anything extra for what you already own. Talk to the retailer you received the Annual Pass from, explain the issue and request a refund for the Annual Pass so you can purchase the Complete Collection. You end up with more, and the pass refund will cover a large chunk of it. It is, however, up to the retailer's refund policies as to whether or not they issue a refund.
