Bungie, I am considering a recommendation for Destiny 2 on consoles. I believe it would make console users very happy and it would balance out the equivalence of PC gamers. I believe, if possible, that you should release an update that turns Destiny 2 on consoles from 30 Frames Per second to 60 Frames per second. As you know, all consoles should be able to support this. If 4K 60 FPS isn’t available for a certain console then drop the games rendering 4K to 1080p. It’s late in the game cycle which makes this a perfect time to release such a commodity in D2. We console players really hope you can meet these goals as we(console players) can be equivalent or similar to the aspects of PC gamers. We really hope you consider.

There is too much going on in certain maps. For example, 9 players in EP or other open world activities. Same for raids with 6 peeps and lots of ads with individual animation. 60 FPS on PS4 pro or xbx will struggle. Also for gaming monitors or her 4k TV with latency lower than 10sec ($$$$) it will be pretty difficult to avoid input/display lags. This generation of console is not up for it and even if it was expensive display will reduce the utilisation. More people have 4k HDR TV for their consoles than good monitors. It is not the best investment for Destiny so don't think it makes sense even though it may not be much coding because it's more to do with platform than code. I would love to have it but current gen of consoles isn't up for it. Wait for ps5 or xbx2 or whatever they will be called.

I've heard only the Xbox one x can do 60. The PS4 pro and other consoles can't do it. It wouldn't be fair for console users if a small portion of the community could do 60 and the rest could. I believe that is the reason why only 30 is used.

This game is so overly complicated in coding and systems that people really have no idea how intensive it is on hardware. They really have to push it to the limit to have what we do now. I'm sure that getting 60fps would take removing a lot of stuff from the game and I'm fine with the frames as they are. I have nothing else to compare it to so it really doesn't bother me. I guess other people play a lot of high fps games or something but the 30fps version really isn't bad.

lol what? Your wasting you're time, our eyes can't see 60 fps. smh

Bearbeitet von Ari: 5/12/2019 4:12:49 AMUsually games don't get an increase in FPS after launch, maybe stability fixes, but not DOUBLE the fps.. if you want more than 30 fps, you're welcome to come to pc, it's an FPShooter after all.. it belongs on PC.

I like the idea. Not sure if my vanilla ps4 can do it though. But if it can I'm all for it.

I mean, if they were to do this, it'd depend on which version of the current-gen console that user has. Do you have the original Xbox, or the X? Do you have the original PlayStation, or the Pro? Because it's really not plausible on the original release versions. But on the enhanced/upgraded ones? Just maybe.
