10 of 11 Triumphs completed, 4 of 200 orbs created in Gambit or Crucible, whoops, looks like you just locked me out of getting the Party Harder Triumph done for the emblem since Gambit is out. No way in hell I'm going to get 196 orbs in crucible with grenade fest going on. Thanks! Not

I ran about 12 matches of Iron banner on 2 different characters getting 15-20 kills with 2-4 headshots per match except for the 1 match where we got mercied really bad (92-20) or something. My orbs created went from 4 to 22. The RNG on whether or not you would create orbs is ridiculous. 2 orbs ever 4-5 headshots would make for a pretty big grind to get 200 orbs. Even though I was positive kd most matches it would take me roughly 120 more matches with 4-6 headshots per match requirement to fulfill this triumph as is.

I'm waiting for an adjustment.... which I am aware may never come. But I will be appalled if they don't fix this.
-
Totally agree, my crucible skills are not great, will take me forever to get enough headshots as is. I should've grinded Gambit before they took that option away.

You and me both

Jeez what a Negative Nancy

I've done 19 matches, taking me from 60 to 84 orbs. Doing the math on it, that's ~22 more hours of crucible grind. At this point, I'd be happy with the multi-orb bonus we get in the forest to be added. It'd still be a grind, but if I'm going up 5 at a time instead of 2 (with a few zeros in there as well), that'd drop me down to about 6 or so hours of play time. That's a significant change, and would make it so that there is a sense of accomplishment, as in I had to work for it, but it wasn't something that required me to no-life it. Just a very sub-par PvP player's $0.02.

I found it easy to get the crucible orbs done after bungie did that patch l got 15 to 20 orbs a game l dont know why people find it hard

He's trolling guys. The last time he stepped in to Quick Play was in the 5 April. And even running with Luna's Howl, Dusk Rock Blues and the Wardcliff Coil he finished with a 0.67KD. Nice try.
-
Lol who are you talk talking about l play around 4 or 5 days a week and if you want stats go to destiny tracker my quick play is 1.84 and comp 1.12
-
Actually, I'll hold my hands up and say sorry. I was checking your game history via a website called D2Checklist.com and it pointed everything to Competitive. I now know this to be wrong. Again, sorry. Last time I use that site.

Bearbeitet von ChrisHoppyBot: 4/22/2019 8:23:23 PMYeah, I can see that you're playing a lot of Competitive. It's all you've played since the 5 April, but for 2 or 3 Strikes. My point is, Revelry orbs are only generating in Quick Play. Therefore, you highly unlikely that you have completed the 200 orb Triumph.
-
Also 90% of my games l play solo

The most pathetic thing about these forums is the insecure pvp -blam!- lurking in the background checking everyone's loadouts, as if they can determine one's skill by such a crude measurement. The second most pathetic thing on these forums is the mention of k/d as some form of skill barometer. You used both of these crutches to lazily elevate yourself over someone that may not even play crucible regularly. Congrats on being a pathetic loser!

Some of us just aren't that good. I've got a messed up hand that makes it very difficult for me to aim, so I pay a penalty that many players don't. Quick precision aiming just isn't going to happen. So I'm grinding it out, hoping to get maps that favor long range weapons, hanging back, and trying to take out a few poor souls who run through my lane. It's a slow, tedious, frustrating experience which has netted me 24 orbs from 19 matches.
-
I DOUBT IT! I completed the 5 precision kills bounty on Crucible and only received 2 orbs towards the triumph. So, it is not like getting 200 precision kills in Crucible. It is more like 500, 600 at least! I just can't do it.

BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Lol if it was l wouldn't of gotten the 200 orbs l have the same quest as everyone else
-
Because it took me 5 matches to get 4 orbs, that's why. I'm a PVE player. The easiest part of the Thorn quest for me was the strike, while some of my pvp buddies struggled for 4 hours to get the strike done and I'm like why, it's easy. Perspective

Not to say that you are lying by any means, but they must not be any good at pvp then. I've never seen a good pvp player that can't shred in pve. If they're good at taking out actual human players, of course they can demolish AI. But flip the script, and the same cannot be said. Great PVE players can still get spanked in the crucible. It is what it is.
-
I would say not all PvPers are good at difficult Strikes or Strikes. They just have the mind set of running in all guns blazing with the mentality of being able to do it all. And more often than not, they can't.
-
No good pvp player has that mindset. Good pvp players are good because of situational awareness, which goes against what you said. For example, The reason I have a low k/d is cause I play recklessly like you described and I do not claim to be a good pvp player. My friends who are very good at pvp have strong situational awareness, knowing when to push, knowing when to hang back, knowing who has supers ready, etc. All of this is very advantageous for pve. I think the people you describe are probably bad at both pvp and pve. Just saying.
-
I would say that just because someone's a phenomenal PvP player doesn't mean they're a phenomenal PvE player. They require different mindsets. They require you to understand how your build works in different ways. There's also different strategies of how to use teamwork in PvE. Something I would personally love to see is a phenomenal PvP player and PvE player starting a solo Shattered Throne run at the same time and see how they both perform/builds that they use for each part. That's actually a stream that I would watch.
-
Well sure, that's fair. And I'm not talking about people that exclusively play pvp either. They might have the raw skill but not the knowledge of when to super, when to use heavy, etc. But most players I know play both pvp and pve. And the ones who are really good at pvp are also really good at pve. My point was, pvp is harder to get kills so it forces you to get good, which builds upon whatever pve skill you already had. Or something like that...

Bearbeitet von NVMYGT: 4/22/2019 6:07:44 PMYou cant crouch around a corner and shotgun your way through strikes, nightfalls, and raids.... just saying Also the guy I was talking about has Claymore, Broadsword, Recluse, Mountain Top, Lunas and Not Forgotten..... so would say he is good at pvp But he doesn't even have a single Leviathan completion. No last wish, no Scourge. He did get to Calus a few times but cant get past the mechanics needed to finish.

What patch ? No way.
