This is a joke, right? How the hell are we supposed to finish the triumph about Gambit or Crucible if you disabled it in Gambit entirely? Like wtf, I am FORCED to go to pvp and have over 600 kills (considering it does not always spawn light orbs) against other players throwing grenades and super like rain?
At this point, I am wondering if there is like a masochistic intent behind your decision to really make your players hate you.
Nevertheless, was that so hard to change the requirements of the objective to be completed or remove it entirely at this point?
Let's repeat this all together:
NOT. EVERY. -blam!-ING. DESTINY. PLAYER. LIKES. PVP.
You gotta respect both of the categories, none of them or just remove pvp or PvE aspect from your game and just focus on one of them if you cannot handle to come up with some BALANCE that would allow the players to decide what they prefer between the two. modes.
I am tempted to report this message you just posted here on the forums as DISRESPECT.
P.S. Next time also, think about informing the players in the game with a tiny notification about what the hell you are doing. Time is precious, not just for you.

OMG quit crying and man up you baby. PVP players have to endure loads of aweful pVE crap to level up. You don't hear us crying. Put on a good nade and go give it your best and quit being a scrub

Bearbeitet von Totally Acorns: 4/19/2019 10:41:48 PMYour first mistake was choosing Destiny as your staple for a PvP game. Your second mistake was telling somebody to quit crying whilst crying about having to play said game to level up......then saying you and apparently every PvP player ("us") doesn't cry about it. Lastly, your final tidbit of hot garbage was to suggest doing exactly what is exacerbating the problem in the first place. The triumph requires the making of orbs. Last I checked, spamming grenades from spawn like some cross map CoD yacht nonsense does not create orbs. The only scrub is the person "not crying" about crying and belittling others. Side note. Chucking grenades everywhere is hilarious and fun, but in no way conducive to accomplishing the triumph for what I would say is most people.
-
attacking me is just a way for you to cry some more. Your first mistake was crying to begin with. Go back to crying to yourself. No one wants to hear it. The triumphs don't even give you any score.. Find a new game and save us all from hearing you cry
-
Clearly you are way too focused on trying to trash on people, you failed to notice I'm not the one who was "crying". Pay attention to the plainly visible names of people posting. I simply commented on your childish response to @hurricane original comment. You are behaving and posting in exactly the same manner you tried calling them out on.
#keyboardwarrior
Ummm...the triumph requires precision kills?!?

Bearbeitet von Alabastro: 4/19/2019 7:21:34 PMActually this game has been ruined by pvp players crying over this or that, tbh. Just pointing this up here. And another thing, it's bullshit to ask to man up to someone in general, friendly reminder that we are in 2019 and stating some unfairness is not being a crybaby. The politics of bungie on how to switch things in an ambiguous way and pushing people to play pvp to progress at all in a dlc content I. -blam!-ING. PAID. FOR. after only a week of it being live because YOU cried over the pvp about the light orbs and grenades (yes, it was not related just to the GUITAR error, as clearly stated in their log) for an event of only three weeks, is what I am pointing out here to be totally shit. You are pvp player, I am a pve player that likes to complete his triumphs with the amount of time I am able to cut out of my week, that therefore I need to spend wisely. So why the hell are you bothered by the pve players pointing out the obvious mislead and totally unfair switch on the way to complete a triumph? I am wondering how you would have replied if this was something that would affect you pvp guys (for example the crazy matchmaking system STILL NOT FIXED and that you still point out to Bungie) and I would have come there saying "Men up and endure the shit if you want to play" even though I am not a pvp player. All of this to say: your remark is totally worthless to me, coming from someone that plays pvp. Your pve struggle does not invalidate my points, as my struggle does not stop me from recognizing that the matchmaking is utter shit for pvp in this game. Are we clear?
-
You're good and make many very good points, thank you for laying it out exactly the way it is!!
-
How about both pve and pvp players shut the -blam!- up and act like adults. If you dont like the game dont play it and don't make posts saying "Goodbye Destiny/This Game Sucks", and if you like the game play it and quit whining. How about we act like the adults we all are and stop pointing fingers and crying like bratty kids. Sidenote- This is not directed at only you. This is directed at the community as a whole.
-
Dang, I've been doing it all wrong all these years. I wish some one would have told me all I had to do to be an adult was to act out on emotions, cuss, demean others, and degrade them. That is waaaaay easier than responsibilities and maturity. I feel robbed.

Bearbeitet von NoxDied: 4/23/2019 6:30:06 PMI'm sorry I think you may have missed the point of the comment. I said us all, I pointed fingers at no one and made it explicitly clear the comment wasn't directed at him exclusively. I swore once and not at anyone in particular. In no way did I demean any single person. I understand where you are coming from but it seems you took apart the comment piece by piece and focused on the message of each individual sentence rather than the whole of the comment. I would argue that the sarcasm used in your comment is much more demeaning than any individual thing I said even put in another context. I appreciate the time you took in expressing your opinion and I hope you have a great day.

I totally agree with everything you wrote. I hate PvP and I hate being forced to play it. I sat here for hours beating my head against wall trying to figure out why no orbs were being made. Three gambits and one crucible later and wow, 4 orbs. If you can't get the orbs for the triumph, then give everyone the triumph for free. For a lot of people smart enough to make the game, you sure are stupud.
-
If everything that was difficult was given away for free there would be no reason to play the game. Like it or not this is both a pve and pvp game. Take it as an excuse to get better and maybe enjoy the game.
-
Its not that its difficult, in fact not hard at all. It's just not working, and the last triumph to finish. I can see I'm making a lot of orbs but its not counting any so I'm stuck needing 106 more orbs. If you are making orbs today (and being counted) for the competitive triumph, please let me know. By the way, I play both pvp and pve just fine.
-
Yea, I don't generate that many orbs in Crucible. I guess I'm done then. Too bad, the emblem would have been nice.
-
Bearbeitet von thatdudeEd: 4/19/2019 6:27:03 PMThe triumph says orbs dont have to come specifically from headshots. You can use other orb making tools at your disposal. Masterwork weapons Exotics that give you back super energy or extends your super Exotics that generate an extra orb Ward of Dawn and Well of Radiance are a good safety net for orb making Or.....now hear me out on this Hope that mayhem goes live in the last week of the revelry You do that and you will be done in no time
-
Well of Radiance didn't work at all
-
That is false. It says generate orbs while affected by revelric light in "x" activity, which is getting orbs from precision kills.
-
They are correct. I tested it myself. It’s not counting headshot orbs either at that.
-
I believe it stayed orbs have to come from revelric light, which is headshots
-
I played crucible yesterday and i can tell you this isnt true
-
yesterday this was not yet done, it's not possible to generate orbs now with super or other things, only precision kills count
-
Bearbeitet von Corrick II: 4/19/2019 6:17:20 PMThey don’t care that you don’t like PvP. Multiplayer is “part of the Destiny experience”, so you better like it or else. 🙄
-
I am fine with that as long as they don't make a mess out of both because they are incapable of managing both of them. We are not talking about a small indie developer here that does not have the personnel or the money to fix and test beforehand stuff.
