So to get the triumph for generating those orbs in Gambit or Crucible, PvE players are now FORCED into PvP once again. Where they'll need to get 200+ precision kills since not every precision kill generates the orbs.
Awesome.
Dicks.

.......... you have a super........ it generates orbs
-
which don't count towards the triumph thanks for the input, kid
-
Did for me 🤷♂️
-
Supers don't generate orbs that count towards the verdant/competitive triumph. Not for you. Not for anybody. Literally every single response has told you this. If you were to ask @Bungie or @BungieHelp, they'd tell you the same thing. You are wrong. Everybody else is right. I'm sure you're used to it.

Bearbeitet von SNAPPYMcGIGGLES: 4/19/2019 5:12:25 PMYou probably are better at getting headshots than I am. I'm not great at Crucible. Congrats on it being easy for you. And I'm glad that you understand you were 100% wrong about supers generating orbs that count towards the triumph.
-
🤷♂️ it only took like a hour. Just pre grenade people and shoot them once.
-
Gotta be precision shots & rng orb drops
-
it wont count...
-
Its not 800. Less than 200
-
I'm about to find out. Hopefully I am wrong
-
I’m already done with it, its less than 200

Bearbeitet von Twoperfecto: 4/18/2019 9:15:02 PMNot with my 0.80 k/d, it isn't fun being stomped all the time, I get on to play a game to relax. I dislike feeling more frustrated after playing a game than when I am at work, that's why I try avoid PvP as much as possible, only try do it for some if I quests like the last word or thorn.
-
You don’t have to do the damn triumph. You are doing this to yourself.
-
It just depends on the person. I enjoy pvp even if the odds are against me. It’s what I consider fun. PvE grind is what I hate most. I can maybe do three strikes before I start falling asleep because it’s not as fun. That’s why I just play pve in short bursts. I know in destiny I have to play both to get the gear or milestone I want. I just take my time with the things I don’t really have fun with.
-
You can literally do it in one game a day. No matter how good or bad you are, if you can shoot aliens in the head, you can shoot guardians in the head. 1-2 games a day max since you only need like 5-7 headshots a day on average
-
Awesome, so just play every day. Such a great way to look at it. Unless you have a job, family, etc. :)
-
Well, that's how the game is designed so if it doesn't fit your lifestyle, then I guess it's tough luck honestly
-
The game is designed to change the requirement for a Triumph 4 days into an event? And you reduce that to "well that's just tough luck, derp"? I know tween bungie sycophants have a hard time with basic logic, but see if you can follow along. I was about 30% done with this triumph using Gambit. It was an hour of play, and I could live with that. I can play 2-3 days/week, and would have had no problem with finishing the triumph, but 4 days in, they changed the triumph substantially. That is no bueno, and I'm not alone in the sentiment. I've been playing since D1 day 1, and have never had trouble completing any triumph in any event, so it's not like I'm unfamiliar with the game's design. It's not tough luck. It's idiotic coding and equally idiotic "fixing" by Bungie. Just because it doesn't affect you personally or that you're okay with it doesn't mean that it isn't something others can discuss in a pejorative manner.
-
Very well said 🤙
-
Or you could play more than one game if you can’t play every day, it really isn’t very demanding. Boo hoo for you I guess? Not everything is going to be accessible to every casual player who wants it handed to them
-
Exactly. I am getting a little tired of this entitled bull crap and the accompanying trend where everyone complains a task is too hard and Bungie gives in and makes everything easier to achieve. Not everyone should be able to easily achieve everything in the game. Stop the whining. They will never be able to please everyone, and do you think it’s more fair to gear everything to the casual weekend player, or the people who spend countless hours on the game working to achieve goals. And before I get some comment about tweens or sweats, I am a middle aged mom of 2 with soccer, band and PTO, to name a few, and a job. If you really want to do it, you can find time, otherwise accept that you won’t be handed everything that other people are working their asses off to achieve.

Bearbeitet von SNAPPYMcGIGGLES: 4/19/2019 2:33:30 PMAs a middle aged mom of 2 with soccer, band and PTO, it's amazing that you don't know how to read and/or have no grasp of basic logic. People are complaining that they changed the parameters of a triumph 4 days into the event, not just that it's a grind to achieve. You don't care. It doesn't affect you personally. Good for you, sweetie. but you look like a moron when you reduce their complaints about this to "whining". Other people exist. Remember that when raising your kids, and they'll be better people than you.
-
WTH I am saying you can find time to play if it takes you a little longer than planned. I am not very PVP oriented, but I’ll play the extra games in QP to get the triumph done. This exactly addresses the point I replied to which complained people can’t play every day. If you want the triumph you can find time to squeeze another game or two in or crucible, they don’t take that long. My point is even very busy people can find the time if they really care about getting the triumph. An ad hominem attack doesn’t really strengthen your point.

Adults understand that there's middle ground between the current requirement and wanting it "handed to" us. That's what adults are talking about right now. So boohoo for you I guess?
