Revelry Orb Generation - Disabled in Raids, Gambit, Gambit Prime, and Comp
Hey all,
We’ve been tracking an issue where [b]Guitar[/b] errors were appearing frequently in Raids, Gambit, and Gambit Prime since the Revelry event went live. Through our investigation, we’ve found that Orb generation off of precision kills, specific to Revelry, are causing these errors.
Effective immediately, we’re disabling precision Orb generation for these activities for the remainder of the event. Additionally, we will be disabling this functionality in Competitive Crucible. While we are unable to disable the effects of Tonic buffs, we have the ability to disable Orb generation which has been a topic of feedback since Revelry went live.
Triumphs and Bounties associated with Revelry orb generation may be completed in Quickplay Crucible playlists, Strikes, Patrols, Black Armory Forges, and the Verdant Forest.

Please let us keep the revelry ornaments. There is literally no point in taking them away. And the “it would take too long to fix” is not a good argument considering how easily you disabled orbs in 3 different modes.

Guitar errors is total BS haven’t seen any except in LW raid why not not just pull the plug on the crucible part too and give everyone one that triumph seeing how you at bungie screwed up royally and not the PVE community after all it is THE SEASON OF THE DRIFTER. Fix your game before reading BS like this oh why not try playing it before releasing it oh that would make to much sense. You all screwed the pooch on this one ☝️

The only Guitar issue that I can clearly see here is that Bungie are still playing their old run down and broken tune called " We can't fix what we broke ".Seriously guys what a memorable song lol.Cannot wait for the album to come out.Call it "My wasted time".....Available through Eververse....

I have never seen a bungie break before until now.Seriously Bungie I would sacrifice sleep for this game,l would grind every day of every week of every month and year,look at how much time I've put in.Well today for the first time I can ever remember,l'm bored,yes Bungie that's right,I'm bored!!!Bored with the same stuff I guess.Not even bothered to complete this weeks activitives or this crappy event.What was the point of this?Was it to annoy the community,because you got a 10/10 here from me.Well done.Your parents must be proud lol.Maybe next time there is a stuff up tell everyone that a dog ate your homework.It'll be more believable than guitars and orbs.Lamo.Happy hunting guardians...

If you disabled the ability to aquire the triumph in Gambit should yy not juy delete it for the requirement of the emblem? Does anyone else feel the same?

According to Guardian GG 273,167 played Crucible yesterday. According to Destiny tracker there were 617.3K who played PVE yesterday. The numbers are down because of the the PVP elitists and their clans. No normal person wants to play the complete POS known as cruci-crap anymore. The lack of fodder and bunkum upsets and infuriates the little pub stomping elitist cowards. So these WLB's start stomping their feet and go crying to Bungie that life is not fair. So what does Bungie do. They come up with a scam to lure every day normal hard working patriotic Americans back into cruci-crap so that the WLB's can once again gorge on their daily dose of fish food.

I really dislike crucible—it brings me much displeasure. I was well on my way to completing that particular gambit/crucible triumph but have absolutely no interest in entering crucible for what is sure to be a hair pulling trial in itself. I came across nary a guitar error during my time spent in any of the listed activities. Please come up with a more reasonable solution than making those of us who detest/suck at crucible enter the activity to complete the triumph. It would be much appreciated. Thank you, a loyal fan.

8 AntwortenCurrently sitting at 10/11 triumphs. Don’t think I’ll be going for that 11th triumph. Not until there is some kind of fix. With my luck, I’ll get super close and then a fix will be implemented and all that grind will be for not.

I just got back from a business trip and I was planning on diving into some revelry this weekend when I am greeted by this. I try to be chill & supportive of you guys. but I just can't help you if you keep driving the franchise off a cliff everytime I turn around.

Crucible isn't even about the gun skills anymore. It's just -blam!-ing grenades. For people like me that hate doing Crucible in the first place this is bullshit. I'm sitting at 10/11 Triumphs for this shit show and I refuse to "play" crucible when it's not even about the guns/shooting skills. -blam!- you, Bungie.

we are in 2019 and you guys didn’t think to make the programming easy to change the event “INCASE” something goes wrong and can remove anything from the event one piece at a time, what kind of company goes in blind like this, lmao something is seriously wrong at bungie.

Proving once more that Bungie don't have playtesters for any new content. It's become like backstreet garage that repairs brakes and suspension but doesn't bother with a road test before handing your car back.

Banjo, does it sound reasonable to you that you'll force us grinding the crucible enlessly for one measly triumph??! Fix the damn thing, or cancel the freaking triumph all together. Do you even comprehend what QA means? and what should the QA team perform BEFORE releasing a huge event like that? As a software engineer you make me sad...
