Revelry Orb Generation - Disabled in Raids, Gambit, Gambit Prime, and Comp
Hey all,
We’ve been tracking an issue where [b]Guitar[/b] errors were appearing frequently in Raids, Gambit, and Gambit Prime since the Revelry event went live. Through our investigation, we’ve found that Orb generation off of precision kills, specific to Revelry, are causing these errors.
Effective immediately, we’re disabling precision Orb generation for these activities for the remainder of the event. Additionally, we will be disabling this functionality in Competitive Crucible. While we are unable to disable the effects of Tonic buffs, we have the ability to disable Orb generation which has been a topic of feedback since Revelry went live.
Triumphs and Bounties associated with Revelry orb generation may be completed in Quickplay Crucible playlists, Strikes, Patrols, Black Armory Forges, and the Verdant Forest.

1 AntwortenBungie did this intentionally with forethought and malice to lure normal people back into Crucible so that the PVP elitists cowards could have a fresh supply of bunkum to gorge on. You see the PVP elitists cowards were complaining that having Gambit as an option wasn't fair and it was having an impact on their ability to terrorize and humiliate normal people. They further complained that the lack of Crucible participation from the normal people was having a direct impact on their quality of life because they no longer had a fresh supply of fodder to degrade, demean, debase, disgrace and embarrass. There for Bungie came up with some lame excuse to decouple Gambit just to appease these spineless gutless cowards.

The game is working as intended they have no intention to fix it as stated in their message. The only way to get the badge now is through Cruca-crumble. Think about it they give you just enough time to complete most of the requirements then all of a sudden whooooooops we have an error that is affecting Gambit but strangely enough its not affecting Cruca-crump. So now that you are 10/11 done with the badge guess what? You have go against all the pupstomping sweaty elitists and their clans living in mommy's basement by getting multiple precision kills in you know get ready its cruce-crap! Isn't that wonderful? Isn't that just a bit strange? Think about who benefits from this. Is it the normal people? Hell no its not. Its the PVP elitists cowards and their clans who benefit.

Bungie, I have been playing quickplay crucible with revelers tonic and getting plenty of precision kills, but still not getting any revelry orbs. my progress is stuck as zero. I have all other achievements done for the emblem. please fix this. I have put too many hours into this game and event to not get this triumph.

Dear customers,Bungie here.We understand that there might be an issue with our game right now,we have our junior mail boy Jimmy looking into this issue however we're not sure which problem you are referring to as Jimmy has informed me of 67 current problems ranging from the staff cafeteria running out of fresh milk,though to the constant calls from Activision asking for their stationery back.Like hell I said.Anyway,where was I.Ahh yes this musical Guitar issue thingy,I've managed to get the Fat Controller in from Sodor,he's really useful and I have full confidence in both he and Jimmy.Thank you for your full support and understanding what a great community I have....Also this issue should be fixed by,say around,close to Christmas,take care any more issues please forward to Activision,yours sincerely Bob CEO,Bungie ....Happy hunting guardians...With all this mess in Destiny at the moment I now have more time for my creative writing lol.

So these same things have demanded that Bungie do something about it. Instead of Bungie fixing the issue they came up with a clever scam to lure the normal people back into Crucible and this was it. Now the pub stomping sweaty elitists and their clans have a fresh supply of fish food to gorge on and they are completely excited about it.

Hey developers. Since your whole event is now screwed up and does not operate as it was designed to to. I demand that you block the entire crucible for the orbs and let the people get their orbs from gambit only. Since this is what you call guitar. I call BUll$h1t. Your sand box. Is crap if they did not detect this. You have succeeded is destroying and happiness that this event could have been able to bring. Your lack of creative fixes for this boondoggle is lacking in so many ways. You have effectively doomed any hopes of inviting people to experience gambit. This orb gathering or lack there of for the event that lists ways to gather but then has errors and no real fix except for the design people (that’s you -blam!-) say just go to crucible and everything will be fine. Like every guardians enjoys or even wants to gather in the crucible. But hey “we the all powerful design crew say it is so let the little people just eat cake,” that will make them all happy. Your game definitely has been going through this downward spiral for the last year. Everything pointed to activision but it’s really your design crew and coders that put that hot mess ie, Bull$h1t out for the people. You seem to not care at all except for one group. The pay to play = the ones on your payroll that get paid to complete triumphs for other people accounts. They are making out this event. Great job on your greed. Now fix this crap so guardians can gather orbs in gambit as the event was intended to do. But we all now how lazy your group is and sinace you have the people money you are not going to do a dam thing. You won’t even read this post. So what does it matter.

While you are at it credit me with a win. I am top of my team and get warnings for returning to orbit when I am winning. Bs Btw you are lieing to us. Orbs still generate. You turned off the tracker. Which member of the executive leadership at Bungie took a massive hit of cocaine and then decided that infinite nade spam in competitive would be a good idea? Seriously? The comp playlist is just full of little dick weeds doing nothing but throwing skip grenades all over the damn place. I go to play comp to get a away from the noobs in QP and enjoy the tactical side of the crucible. Now bungie has let the noobs in and given them a horse to ride around on like this is some kind of circus. I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed.

6 AntwortenThis is horrible. I've been playing crucible for over 3 hours and only created 6 orbs. I have 8/200. At that rate I have to play crucible for about 100 more hours to get 200 orbs. I've tried both Supremacy and Rumble, and neither of those are any better than Quickplay. Assuming Bungie won't do anything to help with this (like returning the Revelry Orbs to Gambit). Does anyone have any good tips for generating these orbs. I've tried Sentinel with suppression grenades, Shinobu's Vow Skip Spam, using hand cannons with Arbalest, using bows, and using scout rifles. I don't know what else to try. Also, can anyone verify that people were actually getting Guitar errors like Bungie claims? No one I've talked to ever got one since the event started.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von RUN-PMC: 4/22/2019 9:51:39 PMWhen Bungie disabled the Gambit eligibility of this triumph, I immediately felt the same way as everyone else and I still agree that this triumph should be given to all. I even previously commented about it. However, with the expectation that Bungie isn’t going to fix things, I decided to attempt the triumph anyway. Im an ok PVP player (1.6KDA-Ish) and I was able to complete the triumph in 40 quick play matches. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. I think a weaker player could still complete the triumph even though it’s going to suck grinding for it. You’ve got two more weeks to do it so set a reasonable pace for yourself. Tips: —expect to lose A LOT. You’re not trying to win (sorry teammates), you’re trying to get headshots. —play smart. Pick a long range+ mid range, accurate weapon loadout. I used Polaris Lance & Service revolver. Any high impact rifle/small arm will work. (jade rabbit & trust is also very good) —keep at a distance and use cover & sniping lanes effectively. Avoid closed in environments like the plague. This will limit the impact of grenade spam. —be patient and don’t let your opponents goad you into switching to shotgun or other meta that won’t get you headshots. You’re gonna die A LOT. — you might also favor high resiliency to limit 1-hit kills from Arbalest. —trust me that you will adapt to this load out and get better after a few games. —if you are really struggling to win 1v1 battles at a distance, team shoot with your teammates and hope for the final blow. Please let us keep the revelry ornaments. There is literally no point in taking them away. And the “it would take too long to fix” is not a good argument considering how easily you disabled orbs in 3 different modes.
