You only need above a .5kd every match to progress. I don't think that's huge ask. Destiny thorn quest was more difficult.

No, it wasn't. Thorn required a .41 kd or higher with void kills, but the matchmaking was light-years more fair.

Tell that to hunters with trash void weapons .

I did it on a Titan. Was basically no different as there were no void super kills on Titans back then.

Which made the thorn quest harder. This quest you need a 0.5kda Thorn quest you needed a 0.41 kd with void. Quite easy to see that the thorn quest was tougher.

Not really. You're forgetting that there were void primary and special weapons back then and there weren't any matches with players skill discrepancies of 500-1000 Elo differences. Sub .40 kds were extremely rare back then. Sub .40 kdas are commonplace now.

I averaged a 0.3kd for months but fought through it and a year later after constant practice I was at 1.2kd. Like most things in life It takes perseverance. I have no sympathy for quitters.
