What I don't understand is why a cosmetic item has such a low drop rate.
I mean, exotics sure. Special raid items like guns and gear, understandable.
Average cosmetic items? From planetary activities? That's a joke and a half.
People wonder why players are disgruntled. Well, this waste of time is the proof. Grinding for utter crap just to finish a title that should be achievement based. This right here is why people quit. Unrewarding garbage you can't even compete unless you have a slot machine bless you.

what I don't understand is why the loot system is so damn inconsistent. You have some vendors that sell their armor set, and unlock direct buy based on rank up (ie. y1 gear from planetary vendors), some vendors that sell 1 or 2 items in y2 (looking at you shax), some vendors that is straight rng or weekly reset (looking at you banshee), vendors that give you tasks for good items but random (looking at you petra), then you have someone like the drifter - who actually has some items, but you unlock gear based on progression (ie. class item, weapons, and eventually the ghost). Choose a system, or hybrid and go from there already.
-
Yeah the vendors are just getting worse, or they just dont care and dont rotate their loot like gambit

I think it keeps people grinding without affecting them due to missing out on actual gear.

Same goes for me, just need the ship for Cursebreaker title, Braytech Osprey for Wayfarer title and a couple of Baron armour peices for Chronicler title. Hate the fact that Bungie put titles behind RNG drop rates, i always thought a title should be something you earned through grind not pure luck. Another great way to pad out Destiny play time, I always find it funny that they believe they can pull the wool over our eyes like we're dumb kids that wont see the real reasons why they do stuff, we always catch them out.
-
Think your missing the same for chronicler like everybody else besides there's no armour needed for chronicler... I need truth to power the last 6 pieces that are time gated.
-
The Baron armour is needed for Variks the Loyal lore isnt it? or am i missing something? I have 2 Variks lore missing and considering I havent had the boots or helmet i assumed i'd get those 2 lore when they dropped for me.

I'm actually not sure now if you need the armor to complete this, been to long. Check this link https://youtu.be/iomU_56vV3s

Tbh I’ve lost all drive for any titles because of this, it’s just another way Bungie has inflated the grind. I’m close to three but meh, they’re old now and I don’t really care. As for the pins, after I bought a heap of stuff in TTK from Bungie store and realised the quality was worse than any sweat shop I decided never to buy another item ever. -
The things I've gotten from the Bungie Store were high quality, so you must've set the order to be made at a low-end sweatshop in Africa.

As someone who’s worked for a indie fashion label where everything was made local from high quality fabric (Italy) and not made/imported from China, India or any other sweat shop country I probably have a higher standard but that’s okay. 3 out 4 t shirts prints were wrecked after one wash following instructions, that is NOT acceptable imo. But you keep feeding the machine and keep people below the poverty line 👍 -
Wow, what a way for bland insults that are pointless in any sort of normal conversation. Just because I like a product, doesn't mean I'm making you like it, and I'm not singing praises about it to the high heavens either, I like the fabric they use, the shirts feel nice, and I like some of the other products from the store. And to say that doing something as simple as buying a shirt is keeping people below the poverty line, maybe we should all strut around in our birthday suits. Nevermind the fact that sweatshop workers aren't used entirely often anymore, and they're forced there by the corporation that's legal in their country but illegal in ours.

Oh sweat shop aren’t used anymore? Wow I guess ignorance breeds arrogance right? You work in the industry as well?
so you must've set the order to be made at a low-end sweatshop in Africa.
Nice way to back track on you poor attempt at a troll 🤦♂️ enjoy your “nice feeling shirts” because it’s probably cost someone their dignity 👍 maybe even more. BTW I wasn’t saying Bungie products are made in sweat shops, rather the quality was WORSE -
Never did I say that sweatshops weren't used anymore. If you hadn't just skimmed over what I said, you would have realized I was trying to make a point.

Because Destiny is all about fashion - and Bungie knows that :)
