So as some of you may have noted, the final boss of the Bergusia forge activity is a fallen walker called the "Black Recluse". This is taking 2 names of spiders, the "Black widow" and the "brown recluse" and combining them.
Now let's talk about Terraria. For those of you who have played Terraria, you may remember an enemy called the "Black Recluse". To my knowledge Terraria was the first game to use this "Black Recluse" name for it's enemies, so the question remains:
Did Bungie follow the same logic in coming up with a name and it's pure coincidence? Or did they name the walker the Black Recluse as a reference to Terraria? I'm personally a big fan of both games so I would like to know the answer.

Those are both common spiders
-
I just wanna know why they made the final boss so easy? You only need 3 whisper rounds to pretty much kill it by yourself
-
Because there is a spider known as the Brown Recluse. The Devil walker is a spider tank, and it is black. Boom, got the name right there.
-
Who Knows, but the damage taken should paralyze you and rot your flesh off at the same time.
-
I'm leaning towards coincidence, but Destiny does have a lot of obscure references to science, history, and pop culture, so it wouldn't surprise me to find that it was intentional.

Brown Reclues bites are nasty Not for faint of heart
http://spidersinfo.com/what-does-a-brown-recluse-spider-bite-look-like/
I’ll be up all night pondering that
not
I’d say it’s more along the lines of a coincidence. It really is just smushing the names of the two probably most well known danger spiders together

Lol idk well noticed tho
