Give us clues that refer to a piece of lore in game that we need to read that leads to a location. We arrive at said location and inspect a recording with a clue to our next step. Eventually this all leads to an encounter with a boss that drops a cypher needed to unlock the bergusia forge, or decrypt an exotic, or make content enjoyable and less repetitive. Yeah I know, wishful thinking.
Edit: Sorry, y'all. Watching a video to stand in a spot to shoot images for no other reason other than the guide says so is lame to me. Even still I don't wanna do niobe labs.

This has always been my complaint with bungie. So much information is missing from the game. And the fanboys think watching YouTube or streamers tell you how is a good thing. Games a joke.
-
So you want everything to be easy and laid out for you. Got it.
-
Well i mean those people making the video guide had to use ingame clues to figure it out. They are there, you just aren't looking very hard.
-
Then download trivia crack for your puzzle solving needs, and simply don’t play Niobe labs
-
Gee i wonder what video the first team to solved the forge watched... clearly it is solvable otherwise people wouldnt have solved it and made a video on how to solve it...
-
It's harder to unlock the forges than it is to actually play the forges.
-
I don't even know why the puzzles have to be set in stone and universal: that literally means that once it's been solved, it's pretty much pointless to do it again. That's the most work I've ever seen put into a part of the game that literally can only be done once and only by the first people to do it. I _guess_ you could avoid watching YouTube vids on how to do it and try to work it out for yourself, but when they forget a vital clue because they failed to adequately test the puzzle before making it live... A better idea would have been to have a moderately difficult puzzle that is procedurally generated, so the puzzle is never the same way twice and never the same for different fireteams, and just ensure that everything needed to figure out the puzzle can be found within that area, through careful inspection. Or a bunch of relatively easy mini-games which unlock different doors/gates to different parts of each Forge, that do different things. These would all have high replay value, so long as the puzzles aren't so difficult or esoteric that they would cause people to give up in frustration.

Bungie has no clue how to add clues and help into the game! It is easier if they make players go to Google and YouTube for answers, no programming or cost involved. More money the for parties and bonus $$$
-
This is exactly why I stopped playing destiny 2. I didn't have time and it was not fun to do YouTube research just to be able to play a video game. It's ridiculous and in my opinion just stupid for what used to be a fun experience.

Ascendant Challenges should state the portal location on the bounty so new/old players have a starting point without looking it up or scouring every inch of the map. They’re so desperate to give streamers more views & influence. There should also be hints at to where ascendant chest are in the dreaming city.
-
So... stop making raids?
-
Anthem Hype is REAL https://youtu.be/rmyybZXymzo Game looks so Saucy.
-
Simply more proof they don’t play their own game! TLDR: bet Eververse works...

Bearbeitet von PRIME_-LeGEND: 1/18/2019 1:04:05 PMThey should explain raid mechanics in the raid so that we dont have to rely kn -blam!-ing rick kackis

That's not how destiny works. Puzzle solution? Not in the game. Plot? Not in the game. Lore? Not in the game.
-
Unfortunately, that's a symptom of many things in this game. Too many quests, puzzles, events and mechanics have me going outside the game to figure them out. There is just not enough in-game explanations or direction.
-
Someone did solve the puzzle thanks to in game clues, otherwise you wouldn't be watching the video.
-
... How do you think we solved the puzzles to make the guides?
-
Seriously, Bungie just repeats mistakes done in other games and somehow expects a different result. This whole thing with Niobe Labs just reminds me of the Shakespeare Puzzle from Silent Hill 3.
-
Bearbeitet von Risky: 1/17/2019 4:27:06 PMthis. especially for lore collectibles. give me hints as to where to find them. relying on Videos to find them is lame.
-
They want you to watch streamers they pay to come out to bungie studios! It’s free promotion. Just look how they don’t do daily updates on there own app but on Twitter abs reply to all of them.
-
Hey, I agree. Tbh destiny 2 has just become too difficult and annoying to play in general and this kind of thing compounds it. The game is already a grindfest, and getting worse about it, and this whole puzzle thing now makes me sad. I love destiny and have played it since the first release but black armory in general just sucks and feels like it's made for a specific type of person that most people probably aren't

Toland should be everywhere. Just have him hiding behind bushes and stuff, spouting off nonsense and giving clues. Or have a ghost ping after a while when there's something going on, like Navi would in Ocarina of Time.
-
See that would be fun a mini quest chain basically. Instead of kill x amount of enemy's collect y amount of materials and do z activity 20 times.
-
I agree 100 percent
-
I agree man. Something enjoyable that is difficult but you dont need to be Nicholas Cage in National treasure to figure out. Imagine not having to look up a youtube video? And knowing itll be a bit tough but solvable? #funwithclanmates?
