Hes not interested in reality, he wants protection from ever matching mean tryhards and no amount of truth will stand in his way It's as if suddenly quickplay was meant to be taken seriously and was a competitive playlist

In terms of elo ratings I got matched up with a teammate who had a 798 rating while I’m 1500 haha there’s a wide gap for sure. Other than times I’ve been matched up against others who have 1900+ elo rating. Quickplay is quickplay. I gain points no matter what and I have fun. I win some, and I lose some. Comp, however, punishes you for losing...which I just think is bad design IMO, can’t help it. I really like how Gambit handles it once you’re in legend rank. Only wins allow progression. “Yeah but then comp is IB” - but I say, who cares? IB is fun in my opinion, I don’t mind losing if I know that I will eventually win and continue to progress in rank. This makes it competitive and still maintains the grind value of LH/NF. Sure, everyone will eventually get it but it’ll take a majority of folks - a long time (months perhaps)
