To tell him great game! Played against a very coordinated team the other day on the burnout. One guardian and myself traded off snipes almost the whole game. We both had some really good shots and the game was only won by us by two points.
Something I've tried to do over the last few months that I've been playing crucible is put aside the salt and look back on my gameplay in an unbiased manner. "Rushed around the corner when I knew they were capping the point by myself" deserved the death. Ran a sniper/handcannon and pushed into close quarters not surprised I got hit with the shotty.
I've also taken to messaging teams and asking for advice. The general community isn't as toxic as I think everyone is put to make it seem. I got stomped by a five stack running Lunas, Not forgotten, Chaperone, the usual suspects. I messaged them and asked if they had tips. They not only invited me to the party, but let me join up and coached me through some stuff.
Yes the meta can be boring sometimes, the best guns will always be at the forefront but you can break away from it with practice. I went from no gold tier medals to 17 of them as of yesterday in about 90 days of taking crucible more seriously. I've racked up almost 700 kills on my Fate cries foul and another 170 on my Tatara's Gaze in a week of having that one.
If you're struggling with crucible take some time to practice, look at your own gameplay, analyze your mistakes, and reach out for help. I'm by no means a top tier player and I still have a lot to learn. You only get better if you make the effort. Thanks for reading and I'll see you in the crucible guardians.

Git gud.

nice post bro, feelsgood :)

Dope. This even follows the lore of what the Crucible is supposed to be. A testing ground for guardians to improve their skills to better combat the enemies of humanity!

Great post. Finally someone who is willing to put in the work in crucible.

I done that once. Message an opposing team player good game after a really close and tense match and got hate back. This community is -blam!-ed.
-
The fact that you even sent the message is nice. Way to be social my friend!

I did this once i said g -blam!-ing g. Boom banned off xbox for a week

I don’t see this enough, but I always do it if somebody truly outplays me
-
This just gave me aton of faith back to the d2 community
-
Yeah, this community is actually really nice. It’s just the vocal minority that are assholes.
-
But you have to admit, when you receive a message right after a match, you automatically default to thinking it's hate mail.
-
that’s cool! usually being genuine and pleasant is met with the same attitude!

you Deserve a Dawning Cookie. good Job. Have this Positivity POSTachio Pignolo for your Great Post.

I wish I could upvote this twice! This is s very insightful and objective post, something I should probably do myself. The "leaving behind the salt" that is.
-
I think it's always a good thing to send a positive message after a match. Whenever I notice i have a "nemesis" in a game i try to send them a gg
-
My frustration gets the better of me when I stop trying I play better makes no sense to me

I ended up doing this in gambit about a week or so ago? Other teams invader and I were both averaging roughly 30 kills a game each for 2-3 games and it became a matter of who could get a slight edge over the other, because that often decided the round, was a fun challenge honestly and he and I have been trading tips since
-
I just had a snowball fight with a rando in the tower. 😁 He had quickness on, so I was getting beat. We ran from one snow pile to the other. Finally I stood in the middle with my hand up to give him a high five. When he came over...POW! Nailed him with the snowball I had hidden. 😂 Laugh emote, waved and went on my way. Put a smile on my face for a while. Hope it did for him too.

Some of the best crucible friends I've made were simply by messaging players I've came across with gg or congratulating them on certain medals like a we ran out of medals or something
-
I've done that about twice as of now, both to opposing players during crucible matches, and everybody on their team left. but they stayed. So I messaged them saying basically just saying good game and thanks for staying even though nobody was there. I ended up making a friend :D

Me and another player were going back and forth and just trucking the other person's team until we ran into each other. No teabags but some great laughs and emotes though. I messaged him good game and he replied how we both carried our teams. Told him if he needed a wingman to holler. Never heard from the guy but a great attitude and awesome sense of humor!!!
