Huge connection problems in NE (xfinity)

I’ve never had any connection problems in destiny in 4+ years Starting yesterday afternoon the game has become unplayable. My character is networking lagging sometimes a full two minutes behind the people I matchmake with That is of course when I’m not getting disconnected repeatedly with various error codes: grape, weasel seem to be the most common but I saw them all yesterday. My connection is fine with all other games (tester) and I have zero issue with psn and psn chat. We need some communication guys, what happened yesterday afternoon... and what’s the plan to resolve it Edit - hardwired connection for those who want to know

    I'm having the same issues, also MA/Comcast Xfinity, starting yesterday and ongoing. Getting Chicken errors on log-in, messages saying the Character Server is down, and then constant Baboon and Grape errors while playing. Summary of ping test: --- www.bungie.net ping statistics --- 300 packets transmitted, 300 packets received, 0.0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 10.045/14.860/39.350/2.873 ms

Please follow the steps below and let me know the results of this test to see what is taking place with your connection. 1. Open a command prompt on a client PC, via the Start Menu search for "cmd". 2. Type "ping www.bungie.net -n 300". (This will ping the address 300 times. Substitute 8.8.8.8 with whatever address must be tested.) 3. Copy the results and paste them in your response to us.

    • Want to add my voice to this as well, in all my years playing I have never once had an issue connecting and now this (I say this not in outrage but because it is unusual) I can still play but it is very difficult, I have to connect to activities multiple times, I often find myself killed by an enemy I had killed sometime earlier, but hasn't died and continues to shoot me. All the issues stated in this forum are ones I experience as well. My results: Packets: Sent = 300, Received = 300, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 10ms, Maximum = 23ms, Average = 11ms

      Exact same problem here. In New England, PS4, Comcast. In the past two days I've been disconnected over 50 times, the game is laggy and glitchy as hell, and I get stuck in loading screens when traveling by sparrow to a new part of a map or in and out of a lost sector for up to 5 minutes. Never had this severe of an issue before this. my internet is working fine on everything else. The game is unplayable right now. Got a lot of grape, chicken, and weasel error codes. Any news on this severe problem that seems to be affecting a lot of people BNGHelp?
