Streamers provide free advertising or exposure for the game. From a Bungie standpoint if they can market the game at no cost to them why wouldn’t they? Bungie and the Streamers are in a partnership. Bungie wants your money and the Streamers want your money. They work together to get your money. I’m not a huge fan of watching Streamers but that’s just me. In my opinion a player needs to decide for themselves whether to purchase or not. Irregardless of who shows up in a hype video.
