Made me want to turn it off immediately. I saw the familiar faces of people I have supported in D1, and it still made me sick. I don’t know what the intention was, but it did rub me the wrong way. I want Bungie to make the game for the players not the streamers.
I said before the ViDoc I wouldn’t be purchasing the annual pass or Black Armory. For context I have purchased every Destiny release on 360, every Destiny release on Xbox 1 twice, and every d2 release through Forsaken. I have also bought a ton of silver and merch. A lot of people said to wait and see the ViDoc. I did and it didn’t change my mind.
I am excited to see that they are using the updates and season as a way to expand the game for people who only have the base game. I think that’s absolutely important to hold on to the player base.

2 AntwortenThe streamer haters are really out here today.....
-
Streamers that will just abandon the game again at some point. It's truly hilarious how much they get sucked off.

7 AntwortenLook at this whiners post history, all he does is cry and cry about everything he possibly can. Dude... Get a hobby.

Bearbeitet von W33DEDPLAGUE: 11/30/2018 1:34:42 AMI took it as "hey, look how excited these people are to play our game!" Boy, some people really hate streamers for one reason or another...and no, not all of us disagree with all the streamers viewpoints. I think Fosaken is EXACTLY what I was looking for in the game and I'm not a streamer or youtuber or any of that stuff. It seems as if bungie IS trying to make the game for the players, I mean D2 launch was a flop and they immediately changed almost everything because of it...because they want people to buy and play their game. The streamers are like 1-5% of the community so why would they want to just make them happy? They want to sell games and dlc, not cater to a bunch of people are already spending tons of time and money on their game for their own benefit and career...does bungie like the free advertisement and hype that streamers can help generate? Of course...buy do they want to make and market their game to less than 5% of their playerbase? That would be extremely foolish and a good way to destroy their company...come on guys, get over the damn streamers already

4 AntwortenStreamers provide free advertising or exposure for the game. From a Bungie standpoint if they can market the game at no cost to them why wouldn’t they? Bungie and the Streamers are in a partnership. Bungie wants your money and the Streamers want your money. They work together to get your money. I’m not a huge fan of watching Streamers but that’s just me. In my opinion a player needs to decide for themselves whether to purchase or not. Irregardless of who shows up in a hype video.

4 Antwortenthe streamers can have it, I'm done with the game for awhile...

12 AntwortenI don’t watch players play video games. I play them. But let’s at least try to look at it objectively. Who would you rather see? Someone with thumbs or some Rando Blueberry doing what Blueberries do best. Which is either nothing or doing the exact opposite of the objective? ✝️

13 AntwortenI kinda agree - the game is designed for those that play Destiny as a job. Impossible to keep up with everything.

5 AntwortenReminder that the PvE community got us the mess that was d2 vanilla
-
1 AntwortenI got the part when they started showing streamer clips and clicked off immediately 😂
-
1 Antwortenseems tone deaf considering how many people are tired of streamers speaking on behalf of people who do not no life this game. Streamers also do a horrible job of speaking up for solo players. Bungie has a huge blind spot there because of that.

1 AntwortenWhat does spending money have to do with this? Really? Think they’re interested in what you spend, I can say I’ve spent far more than that, try everything x2 plus on all platforms....you can’t say anything about spending money.
-
20 AntwortenI don't get why the sensitivity to the biggest voices in the community, all they do is voice out what others say. A secondary voice to your own. I dare to say streamers are what help this game and move along the community. Have you seen how toxic these forms can be? Imagine letting the forms be the only way bungie bases their actions.. that's true hell. Streamers and youtubers are a positive, point out the biggest concerns and issues. They echo what everyone else asks for while also holding their own opinions, without attacking other peoples opinion or wanting things to happen out of spite.

Saved me the trouble of watching it. Thank you. Have a like.
-
4 AntwortenSigh....... I want to try and counter this but I know if i do people will just call me "Bungie dick -blam!- sucker, git gud fukwit"
-
3 AntwortenOh shut up
-
This makes no sense. Seeing as you bought lots of silver, I’m gonna guess you are a casual. Remember that the more casual direction of D2 vanilla is what killed it. Streamer side might be a bit too far over, but I’m alright with it, as are others

3 AntwortenWas a little cringey I agree but I will take this version of destiny over some watered down, hand out rewards and exotics like they are going out of style game all day. If you want to do the hardest content and get the best stuff then you should have to put time into a game not just walk up with your hand held out.
-
2 AntwortenI mean if they showed normal players reactions to the content the comments would be complaining about Bungie placing surveilance into people's homes. I'm disappointed they didn't include any clips of Th3Jez playing Warmind "somebody call Byf!"
-
7 AntwortenI don't understand why you are this upset
-
1 AntwortenThey aren’t “celebrating streamers”. They wanted to show players reactions to the secret stuff that they were mentioning in that time. Unless you have recordings of you reaction when doing ascendant challenges or the Whisper quest online for Bungie to see, they are going to use streamer reactions because those are available to use.
-
3 AntwortenReally gotta disagree. We saw plenty of content coming to us in the next few months. Stuff like activity matchmaking, overpowered exotics, quests similar to whisper, new raid lair and last word, were all things this community wanted. How does showing 5 seconds of a streamer celebrating that he got whisper in the vidoc relate to any of this?

Bearbeitet von Sweet Lew 88: 11/28/2018 7:20:06 PMI don't usually watch streamers, but I do enjoy their Youtube content and I like D2 Forsaken and where its going. keep it up Bungie!
-
It’s almost like context matters, They were in the moment of talking about community reactions to the hidden exotic quests. And it’s almost like people that record themselves playing the game would be the easiest way to show community reactions.

But what's wrong with streamers in ViDoc? Or you didn't have same emotions after ascendant portal? Shuttered Throne? When you finally got Whisper of the Worm? I agree, that streamers to good example to develope gameplay. But devs spoke about secrets and how cool to find them. And showed emotions of only players they can show - media persons.
