[b]Infusion:[/b] Keep the system where the same item only costs glimmer to infuse. Restore the old system where the same type of weapon costs glimmer and legendary shards. (Including the ability to put kinetic or energy archetypes into each other - this I am flexible on - if it cost one core to put an energy pulse rifle into a kinetic pulse rifle - I could live with that). Only require cores to infuse a different weapon archetype into another - and only allow energy to energy or kinetic to kinetic in this case. It actually kind of makes sense to need cores to upgrade an auto rifle with a side arm. Remove cores from armor infusion for each class. But - bring back cross class infusion at the cost of cores. Let me put a Hunter helmet into a warlock helmet - but charge me 4 cores to do so. [b]Masterworking Gear:[/b] And finally, master working was supposed to create player investment - so add in tiers for each masterwork that allow it to [i][b]auto upgrade with use.[/b][/i] For example - primary ammo weapons - mw2 at 100 kills - mw 3 at another 200 kills, mw4 at 300 more kills and so on. Have reduced kill requirements for green ammo weapons and further reduce it for heavy. Auto masterwork armor levels based on activity completions - crucible matches, strikes, public events, etc. This gives people a way to upgrade gear by using it - just like in Destiny 1. Effectively making the master work cores a quick way to get there - like motes used to work. But if I have armor and weapons I love - playing with it over time will cause it to automatically master work! Make master work cores an item to speed the process - but not required in any way if you are willing to work for a matching drop and just use the weapons and armor you love. This keeps people playing the game with actual tangible progress we want to see - not tied to slot machine drops or trading shards to spider over and over.
