After the first week hype, who is still enjoying it?
Edit: Holy hell, came back to 227 notifications. Interesting to see the varying, but similar, complaints and likes.
2nd Edit: 368 this time, never thought this would get so much attention. Maybe I should just stick to these instead of long lore posts, lol.
Last Edit: 766 likes? That’s almost matches the amount of Edge Transits I’ve gotten. You guys are nuts.

Yes! Rewards are great. Prime Engrams do help out. Currently 522 I’m trying to get up for the raid.

What is the point of playing a looter shooter if there is no loot

So I've looked up my "Heart of the Awoken" trophy. You get it for entering the Dreaming City. As of now on PS4 it is 8.4% Only 8.4% of players who bought Forsaken have finished the Mission where you meet Petra at the Oracle, give an offering and open the new playable area. So the vast majority of players have just played the main story missions and stopped after Uldren's death? I can understand those numbers if it was the first week but there has been plenty of time to get at least one character into the Dreaming City by now.

I love it. I think the game allows you to do whatever your feeling that day. 1) Want to let off some steam after work? -Go melt hordes of enemies on strikes or take it out in the crucible. 2) Want to get lost in some nerd lore and discover D2 universe on the weekends? -Fly into dreaming city and find all the hidden treasures/mechanics. Also PVP seems more competitive(valor/glory rank) and I like that. That’s where games are going with esports and all that. People want to become more lethal and ranks allow them to be recognized. My 2 cents on grinding: Grinding can seem like chores I’ll admit, but in the same vein if you love destiny, it (grinding) allows you to still feel like the story is still going on. We actually kind of need it. It gives you reasons to keep playing the shooter game we love/hate, long after you beat the campaign. I think that’s the purpose of it. Otherwise everyone would just finish the campaign and then we’d be done with D2 in a week. Grinding actually gives you a WORTHWHILE reason to keep playing and get your money’s worth. There wouldn’t be a community without grinding. They’re wouldn’t be a D2 app with forms to talk about common gripes that we all share and love reading about. You may hate grinding, but try not to think about it that way, just go out and have fun shooting other guardians or raid bosses. It’s a mindset problem and easier said than done. Rewards will come in inevitably. Thanks and good luck all.

Yep just picked it up on pc hoping to get my m&k skills up .

Forsaken brought me back after an almost year long break and I've been enjoying it thoroughly. Some wonky matchmaking and glitchy gun shit happens but that's destiny always has been since the launch of d1, I've come to accept it.

I am. Especially enjoyed the last Iron Banner.

Bearbeitet von DeathPony07: 9/23/2018 12:39:07 AMThe power level grind is boring. I just want to play the game, but Bungie won't let me, because elitist neckbeards think that grinding forever is required. Make leveling and infusion work like they did in Year 3, or just get rid of the 'power level' crap altogether.
-
The few thousands left do. The same casuals ready to uninstall as soon as red dead is downladable 🤣
-
I'm finding it very difficult because every week I haven't been able to complete ascended challenges or get Petra's reward because of the fact that my fire team-mates completed the Bounty with me and we got Triumph but we did not get a check box. At least half of my weekly rewards do not reward me anything
-
Enjoying it? Yes.....frustrated by it even more. Same old bungie one step forward two steps back. Alot of things fixed, bounties, random rolls, ttk etc. But alot of things changed that didnt need to be like infusion and some elements of leveling. Iron banner is pointless, here have some new gear that drops 20 light below your current level and use it in a mode with light level advantages on therefore putting yourself at a massive disadvantage or use our ridiculous infusion system to bring it up to par.......umm good work thanks bungie

I'll enjoy it more when the raid gives me a weapon. 3 cloaks in a row and its killing me lol

Losing its charm more and more each day

Bearbeitet von NELSON_REBEL: 9/24/2018 4:35:51 PMLeveling up gear is literally mentally challenged. Seriously the whole masterwork cores are required for EVERY.SINGLE.UPGRADE is the most lazy grindfest leveling system I have ever seen in a game REMOVE masterwork from gear upgrades entirely. I dont want to f%5*ing use a pulse rifle just because its a higher light level. I have a job and I DO NOT have 8 hours everyday to play a f&@*ing first person shooter game with the story element level as shallow as a Dr Seus book. Leave masterwork cores for (SURPRISE) masterwork gear. Genius right? Christ the thought process behind devs shocks me sometimes. Other than that, the game is back to being decent pre-D2 launch and I am actually enjoying the DLC. It feels like a real DLC with meaningful expansion material. The new classes are actually really fun. And I was impressed by how balanced they are. It was a solid gamechanger.
-
It’s not bad, but I’d love something other than a grenade launcher drop for my heavy slot.
-
I don't have forsaken but I did enjoy the new weapons for about 2-3days till I realized it's the same garbage with not enough variety
-
My interest is at an all-time low. 100% not enjoying this shite.

Bearbeitet von Eqitx: 9/22/2018 11:37:38 AMMost already left/ask a refund. If you consider how low sales were for this dlc, go figure how many thousand fools are left here. You know, only dumb kids would still play an overbugged game where cheaters go free and get special rewards 😘
-
Wait people still play this game?
-
i feel like im stuck in a progress throttle loop for almost 3 weeks , no real progress towards raid or let even nightfall access , i gave forsaken a fair chance but this might be the very last chance i gave to destiny , they dont seem to have any vision for the game or have the player in mind when designing it everything seems to be built around limiting your progress , loadouts everything unless you log in everyday and do the few reptitive tasks they force you to, forcing me to play pvp to even get a marginal light level progress doesnt help much either to keep my interest
-
i would enjoy it more if power engrams gave me higher light than i have , right now there a big waste of time
-
I'm enjoying forsaken. Could use a more stable way to earn masterwork cores or legendary shards. But it's been pretty fun. Only gripe is how few exotics been dropping. But that's everyone.
-
Enjoying it for the most part. Don't fully understand or enjoy the way powerful gear has certain tiers or has to be done in a certain order to maximize gains
-
Plz stop this...it ruined d1, everyone said ttk and roi was better, then u ran out of stuff to do in a couple weeks....why can't it be a grind game...play for enjoyment (games are for) because once u max out u will leave again, it's happened so many times.........
-
Bearbeitet von EchoAquarius: 9/24/2018 1:48:39 PMI'm really enjoying the content. The only problem for me is that i've put over 170 hours into it and have only one RNG exotic to show for it. And it decrypted into a season 1 exotic. Seeing all these people that have 6+ exotics (ive even seen a lot of 10+) is pissing me off because the only things the game currently has to offer that I have not done repeatedly are Morgeth, The Vault, and Riven. And I have one. And it's an Orpheus Rig.
-
i enjoy it. just wish that we could reroll forsaken legendaries and also increase the drop rate for exotics
