I'm talking a fresh game, 0-0, ends up 3-30 within 2 minutes. Why bungie? Why are my teammates incapable of playing two points? Why are my teammates running smoothly, but the enemy team is twitching, rubberbanding, teleporting?...meaning not my connection, which is 100/100 fiber over cat5 btw.
I think the last 7 games have started off around this score. Every single time.
edit: Then after reporting the enemy team for lag and inspecting their profiles to block them (hopefully to prevent future matchmaking with them) I see half of them are streaming and from countries half way around the world. Why are they playing with me?

Working as intended

PSA: Only one person needs to stay and capture the home point at the beginning of the match. EVERYONE ELSE should be going to B or doing something to assist in taking it. Although some maps it's easier to control A and C, please remember this general rule of thumb.
-
Then the losing team ends up winning 125-89 because the damage referee kicks in to try to make things more balanced.

Might want to look at your own performance before you complain mate.

I gave up on caring about winning. If the majority of the community wants to play Clash and ignore the flags then I'm down.
-
I don't remember playing a match this week that wasn't a landslide. Not fun to win, not fun to lose.

Why is Iron Banner locked to a single mode every round?

I recommend looking for people to join your Fireteam / party chat if you're determined to win in Crucible. I know it's a hassle if you just have a spare hour and want to play a few games, but Destiny 2 Crucible becomes much easier with each teammate that you can hear. A call-out can prevent a Power Play, keep you alive, allow you to capture a second point, team-shot an opponent, coordinate Supers, and ultimately lead to victory. Expecting 3 teammates (or 5 with Iron Banter) to somehow function as a unit with zero speech is absurd. I personally like that detailed teamwork can yield large, quick victories. It's just annoying when a six-stack all use Antiope, Graviton and Sins of the Past! haha

Bungie can only match you form the pool of available players, and: 1. This is a late-season IB where most players have no reason to play (got all the loot, unlocked all the ornaments.) 2. IB is played by a lot of set fireteams. So you could wind up matched to a 6 man team with people from all over the world. Which can lead to really poor performance since data has to travel along lines with really high ping times because of distance.

The best part your going to love is that because you have fast internet, you're actually at a disadvantage. If they have a slow connection speed, you're -blam!-ed before you even start the match.
-
I have noticed that when I play against people streaming the connection is very poor. Delayed hit registration, rubber banding, teleporting, instant death from one auto ruffle shot, etc... I can often tell when I'm facing a steamer by their connection quality, and confirm it in guardian theater after the match.

ive seen this a load of times. lag lag lag.. very annoying.
...meaning not my connection, which is 100/100 fiber over cat5 btw.
Dozen matter. If the host's speed is 5/2 over a wet noodle, then yours might as well be too.

All mine seem to start off 30-3, so... sorry, my bad. I'll let you win next time. ;)
