But this is Destiny 2, we don't have "builds" for subclasses only trees and all our exotics work on every armor set/subclass, the only difference is some exotics work better with something like the Nezarac's Sin. Would be nice to bring back weapons that elicit a unique play style, very good in certain conditions like having super.
What do we have now? Risk Runner- Hope enemies in crucible have arc on. On strikes without a lot of arc? switch to the Graviton.
Would be nice for a very big mixup in how super trees work, exotics work and feel, and new exotics that allow playstyles like the Mega DoT Sunsinger Warlock with the top perk on the last column with the Thorn.

Sunshot is like a worse version of the Graviton in PvE Colony doesn't make it feel like the enemy is being swarmed, just feels like Truth Rocket launcher in grenade form Risk Runner is neutered version of Zhalo Supercell and can't activate the perk without being hit by arc Graviton feels right and unique Wardcliff feels unique Tractor Cannon Feels unique and is good Hardlight/Borealis basically same perk different gun Sturm and Drang - Destiny 1 Handcannon in disguise (Lingering song/Feathermag/Smallbore/Luck in the chamber 2 tap) DARCI - Any different than hardscoping with a legendary sniper in crucible? Usually not Optimal for raids or bosses with flinch Polaris Lance - Better version of Jade Rabbit Prometheus Lens- No one uses this for ad control when you have graviton/Sunshot/RiskRunner/Huckleberry I think the point is made
