[b]A GUN ENTHUSIAST'S PARADISE!![/b] Why would there not be a gun range on the Farm??? The vibe would be a Bass Pro Shop (for guns). You walk in, you can draw any weapon and have infinite ammo. You shoot at some simple targets that are at close, medium and long range. You get real-time feedback. Each target has a crit spot, also. A REALLY, REALLY, REALLY cool idea is that the range setup changes so that for one period of time it is set up for hand cannons and auto rifles, etc. and then another time it is set up for Power Weapons and the targets change size and a sniper target is added way in the back. The Range setup can change every Wednesday. You could even add a feature where there's a bot NPC that will rip mods off of weapons to be re-used for 30 Legendary Shards, or something. Bungie can start off really simple and slowly build on it so that there IS A SHOOTING RANGE in Destiny 3. They can always keep the Farm around just for this purpose. It just makes sense to go to a place where you can try out a new weapon and get some data, for comparison purposes. And with the bot NPC you have potential to spend Gunsmith Material in exchange for specific services relating to mods or ADDING DECALS to weapons, like a Dead Orbit sticker. Just the type of stuff you might do at some gun hobbyist event. Imagine Accuracy Tests that grant you a random mod and emblems that track your skill level at the Shooting Range with a Scoreboard (best three shooters last week and the running top score to beat this week). Bungie could really roll with this. Just start really simple. Then slowly build on it as per what players want to see added to it over time. But Bungie has wanted us to believe that they are trying to be more *receptive* to community feedback as of late. It is just a shame that the Farm isn't being used for much. A lot of effort was obviously put into creating the space. It's just a shame, that's all.
