Character Flashbacks
Okay so this is a concept for an idea I had, where, basically, you get to experience an event from the lore of the destiny universe that previously you could never explore, something that your guardian is not a part of.
What I basically mean is, say you could play as Lord Saladin in the Battle of Site 6, so we could truly experience the rise of Iron campaign. Or, say we could play as Ariana-3, or Toland, or Vell Tarlowe on the raid in Crota's End, so we could grow more in our understanding of the characters. I think, if implemented, this could truly connect us to the characters of the destiny universe. Maybe even something as deep as exploring the past of our own guardian, or Cayde-6, etc...
Likely to happen? Definitely not, as D3 has been in the works, but also because it would be difficult to make. I just want to know though, who would like it?
TL;DR: You can play through lore events, such as Lord Saladin at the Battle of Site 6.

I feel like the events could play out in front of us. Similar to the mission in ESO where the prophet does that backstory thing as to how molag Bol is coming through from cold harbour. Now I’m not saying we can’t interact with the environment but we should get the option to not to. Like you could follow Shaxx or Saladin at the battle of twilight gap, they’d give exposition to the events through in flashback conversations and they’d be fighting enemies. Now the enemies would be killable but if you don’t shoot at them they’d leave you be, you’d just witness a longer flashback. If you did shoot at them and kill them all or something it’ll forward the flashback along a little and you’d miss stuff (possibly).
