Welcome back to another OAFL event. Due to the remote area and rough terrain, the fight at Zeus's Battlegrounds will have to be viewed by spectators by drone and nanobot cam. ------------Todays Fighters------------- Manoflight ANIMAL: Bearded Vulture APPEARANCE: black metal plated armor, red-orange war paint streaks down front chest, black metal bird shaped facemask helmet, boots with futuristic orange glowing lights and boosters to control his flight. Metal wings, heated up at the tips to create an orange hot glow, and appear as on fire when in fast motion. WEAPONS: Dual Wield Swords Snowy Wolfos ANIMAL: Arctic Wolf APPEARANCE: silver plated chest and gauntlet armor, rimmed with white wolf fur. The rest of the armour is somewhat khajiit style, and he has a white pelt cape coming out of his left shoulder armour and going down the left side of his back. WEAPONS: Glass Bow, Nightingale Blade ------------------------------------------- Fountains and courtyards line the outside of this glorious Greek temple. Inside the temple, there are columns lined with sparking diamonds, and statues of gods and goddesses surrounding the room. A giant chandelier hangs on the center of the roof, and just below it, a gravestone made of pure diamond and gold, with a statue of a lightning bolt. On the gravestone the name “God” (the person) is etched, and the words [b]A Kindred Soul, Laid To Rest, Missed By All, Who Knew Him Best[/b] are engraved. In the distance, Horns begin to sound with the tune of the song " I'd rather see your star explode". From the rear entrance to the glorious temple, the howls of many wolves are heard. Even in the warm light of day, the sky above the rear entrance turns a cold blue, and wind picks up. Light particles of snow slowly drift in the rear entrance, dancing lightly through the air and softly and silently landing on the ground. As silent as the snow, a figure appears from the blue and white haze, with the white pelt bristling. As he passes the columns with torches, the fire turns blue. The crackle and light sound of ice is heard, and the figure holds out his arm. In the air, Ice constructs and hardens to glass in the shape of a bow, as it falls into the hands of Snowy Wolfos. The clouds above the front entrance begin to darken and swirl... wind picks up. FLASH! There is a sudden flash of orange light at its epicenter in the sky. A dark object seems to be falling quickly... but it doesnt look like a person. A large walnut slams into the ground, and dirt flies as it is wedged into the landscape. The walnut begins to heat up and glow red... ZZAP! A loud noise is heard as dual swords and metal wings slash their way out of the walnut, the wings sent the scorched pieces flying into the air rolling across the ground in smoke. Manoflight jumps out of the shell and while in the air, spreads his wings, looking like a silhouette in the sunlight. FIGHT! Snowy aims and fires the bow at the silhouetted opponent gliding towards him. Manoflight spins as his wings, looking on fire, slice the arrow away with sparks. Manoflight takes a sword and swings it, using the momentum to dive down toward snowy with bird-like speed. Snowy rolls out of the way briefly in cover behind the monument. Manoflight swoops back upward, and snowy fires more arrows. Manoflight blocks some by slashing his swords, then he takes a sword and throws it. It goes spinning through the air like a razorblade and it manages to slice open the wolf pelt fur at his shoulder, now slowly turning red at the area, like drops of blood on snow. Manoflight dives down 2nd sword in hand. He slashes, but snowy jumps sideways and, in one motion, uses the column as a step to jump upward, and fires downward, and the arrow collides with his opponents boot. The arrow shatters, but the orange light on the side of the boot (which stabilizes his flight) flickers off and manoflight spins out of control as he tries to swoop upward. He slams into the balcony above the side columns and statues. He goes spinning backward head over heels and crashes into the wall. White dust and rock pieces fall to the ground. Snowy draws his nightingale blade and moves in like a wolf approaching prey. Manoflight tampers with his stabilizer but he can only manage to get it to flicker on and off for a few seconds. Snowy moves in for the kill, slashing downward. The blade collides with manoflights sword at the last second, just centimeters from manoflights face. With his one good boot with the working stabilizer, he boosts upward, swings that propelled leg and kicks snowy backward into a column. Manoflight then two handedly swings the sword horizontally toward snowys neck. The blade stops halfway buried into the pillar and white dust and debris fly everywhere, as snowy ducks and slashes manoflights ribs with the blade. Manoflight yells in pain and spins, using his wings scorching edges to batter snowy backward and he falls to the ground. From the ground on his back, snowy draws his bow. Manoflight rushes him. The arrow ricochets off his helmet as manoflight reaches down and grabs snowy by the neck. A high pitched sound is heard as manoflights other boot restabilizes, and turns on. Manoflight blasts upward holding snowy above him and slams snowy into the roof. Dust falls into manoflights eyes, and snowy (whos bavk is briefly lodged into the roof) kicks his opponents helmet off. He comes loose and falls, but uses his blade and stabs it into the back of manoflights wings, and hanging there. Manoflight swoops downward, grabs his sword, and swoops upward, trying to release snowy from his back. Snowy tries to push the blade deeper, and jerks it to the side to control manoflights flight. He spins and they collidewith the chandelier, which shatters to pieces, as they both go twirling downward , past the columns, and CRASH!! brick and white dust fly everywhere and trails them as they crash through the wall and roll out into the open courtyard with fountains and some statues. They roll and stand up.. the clouds are dark overhead, and wind is blowing leaves violently around the courtyard. They run at eachother, both swinging their weapon. As they collide, thunder sounds out from above. Manoflight swings, snowy ducks and jabs, manoflight dodges grabs snowys wrist, and uses the other to swing. Snowy pulls back with all his weight and they both go rolling backward across the ground and stand up again, speedily fighting again. ZAP!!!! Lighting strikes near the courtyard, then again ZAP!!! in the courtyard. They realise the lighting is getting closer to them, as if attracted to the metal swords. Snowy slashes, and it nicks him, snowy slashes again, manoflight grabs his wrists, rotates them and knees snowy in the ribs, tham throws him over himself so snowy lands on his back. Manoflight boosts up and then falls, swinging his sword downward. Clang!!! The sword hits the blade near snowys face. Manoflight angles his sword and pushes, which begins to jab into snowy. Snowy rolls backward with momentum and kicks upward off the ground, kicking manoflight in the face and getting him off the ground. ZAP!!! both fighters ears ring as the fountain next to them is cracked and blackened by lightning. The clouds rumble as if readying another. Snowy notices whats going on and takes his blade and tosses it in between him and manoflight. ZAP!! lightning strikes it. Snowy looks up and sees the clouds flashing above them again. He looks at manoflight. "Cmon!!" He takes out his bow and fires. Manoflight flies and throws his sword, which destroys the arrow midair, and slashes snowys thigh before colliding with the ground. Snowy holds the leg wound... then looks up again. "Lets end this here" says manoflight to snowy as he comes to the ground and approaches. "I agree" says snowy. He takes the sword, and loads it in his bow. Manoflight enrages himself, readys his scorching wings and charges with eyes now glowing like fire. Snowy runs up and to the side toward a statue. Manoflight jumps and swings the red hot wings. It all happens in slow motion: Snowy wall runs the statue horizontally in the air, the wings slice through the air toward him, and takes off the edge of his pelt, armor, and shatters the bow right as snowy fires the bow, launching the sword into the shoulder blade of manoflight. [End slow motion.] Snowy finishes the wall run, spins in the air and lands, as manoflight begins falling toward the earth with the sword in him. Snowy looks up, then runs forward grabbing manoflight from the air, spins, and throws him backward spinning out of control. The stabilizers get him steady and touches down on the ground. He faces snowy who smiles, then looks down at the sword in his shoulder, as blood trickles from his mouth... he looks up... the swirling clouds give off flashes of light charging up the big one. ZZZAPPP!! Lighting bolts downward and hits the sword. There is a large flash of light, a flurry of sparks, and the explosion of manoflights mechanical wings, and he falls to the ground smoking.... The storm eases. Snowy breaths heavily. He looks up, wipes the blood off his forehead, and notices a statute of a man with a lighting bolt. Vines grew around its head like a natural crown. It was as if the statue is looking at him, approving of his skill. He feels a ray of warmth and looks up. A ray of sunshine is gently bringing down a laurel wreath, and it lands on the head of Snowy Wolfos. Snowy wolfos is victorious Thank you spectating this epic fight. Let us have a moment of silence for God (the person) in respect of his memorial here at Zeus's Battlegrounds. The fighters both fought with skill, and will be repaired by OAFL medical drones and The Maintenance crew will repair the temple to its former condition.
