Where the -blam!- is she? She was a Tutor (and possibly mother) to Xivu Arath, Savathun, and Oryx. She was chased and present with The Traveler...when ever it fled to another system from The Hive. She was last scene with The Ecumene.
My personal spinfoil hat theory is that she's in The Traveler. It's been referenced numerous times as an egg or incubator. Possibly The Traveler let her in (Get your minds out of the gutter). Maybe she's been growing in power inside. Is this going to be true....I doubt....but it would be nice to possibly have an alien ally that's solidly on ourside for once....with no ulterior motives.

Taox wasn't with the Traveler, the Ecumene found her in deep stasis aboard a ship. It is unknown what happened to her when the Ecumene fell, which was millions of years in the past. There is also no evidence that the Ecumene were visited by the Traveler, they had no paracausal abilities or weapons. They also had no real understanding of the paracausal nature of the Taken.
