Bungie is just clearly not up to the task of being a triple A developer in 2018.

The world clearly moves too fast for their glacial pace. No one is going to give a shit about Destiny 2 by the time it's where it should be, if it ever even gets there. The pathetic speed at which updates are coming to Destiny 2 is the dying, choking breaths of a developer being propped up by a publisher with too much money. It's time for Bungie...to end.
Moderator edit: This thread has been moved to #Feedback forum so that other Destiny players can weigh in. • Don't agree that Bungie should "end". However they've certainly screwed the pooch big time. Shat the bed with boiling hot magma diarrhea. Jumped out of the plane with no parachute... and so on. Changes sure aren't coming quickly enough. And thus far, they haven't been meaningful enough. Sure, we've got a big patch coming up. Furthermore it LOOKS like the most impactful one we've seen. But reading through it... still not enough. A better effort for sure, but it's likely not going to be the drastic turning point this game needs. It boggles the mind that the people who are largely responsible for the direction they took D2 haven't been relieved of their duties. They took the game in a direction that has led to ruin, and alienated a significant portion of their player base. Seems like an actionable offense to me. I would never root for people to be out of the job. Unless they -blam!-ed shit up to very large degree. And that's what happened in D2. Time to shake the tree and go a different direction. A better direction. D3 is the only thing that's going to save this franchise. D2 lacks the depth and complexity that D1 had. That's what kept D1 going, it had actual depth on alot of levels. Alot of folks don't realize that. That's why D2 has been an overall failure, because it has literally none at an accessible level. It's issues are far too deeply rooted to be corrected with a patch or DLC, or even expansion, IMO. I'd love to be proven wrong. I'd love to have a reason to pick up those sticks more often. But if I had to bet on the outcome... it'd be that the needed fixes won't come quickly enough, and Bungie won't make the fixes meaningful enough to right the ship.
