If you're a solo player, why are you in a clan? To gank the free engrams every week?

Come on Tommie, you know the answer to that. I'm in a clan and have been solo since December. Not my preference, it is what it is, but my entire clan has stopped playing. I can't say this is happening for everybody's clan but reports from the forums say my experience is not uncommon.

Oh, don't get me wrong. My last clan, which was filled with RLFs and others I played Destiny with daily. Enter Destiny 2. First few weeks, everyone was on. Then, a month or so later, the roster began to shrink. There was a three month period, where I was the only one getting on. Decided I had enough of that solo life. Found a clan that's active and constantly doing stuff. Forgot what that felt like.

Yes, you told me your clan experience once before. That's why I replied with "you know the answer..." My current clan is friends that I know personally, most of them. Left them once when they stopped playing (Age of Triumph, I Loved running raids all the time!!) for a very large active clan, moved up quickly to admin there but it began being work. Mandatory discord, madantory minimum activities weekly, mandatory recruitment, etc... I was advised if I needed or wanted to step away for a week, I should contact my ambassador! lol. I don't check in with any mortal being on where I go, when I go there or why. Just couldn't do it. Great group of ppl though, just not my environment. lol Went back to my friends, who just aren't playing. meh, they'll come back or I'll solo it forever! lol. Not jumping again.

Well thats one of the reasons for sure, is it something bad? Clan rules allows that. Another reason is that i were just looking for people to play. But reality is little different, most clan members are not active anymore...

That's why I changed clans, to a more active community. 👍

Well thats good advice, but i would still rather have matchmaking in every activity. I dont like being forced to join a clan.
