Here are the steps you will want to follow for uninstalling the full Destiny 2 game and all add-ons, you want to uninstall everything.
Then you want to clear your system cache.

Then reinstall Destiny 2, making sure it's installed on the internal hard drive.

Finished reinstalling everything and loaded up the game. I was able to get to the character select then I launched the tower. A few seconds later it froze and crashed. Defective hard drive?

Dam. I did happen to purchase the warranty from GameStop though as well.

They will tell you who to contact, you may need to contact the GameStop warranty service too to update them too on the issue.
