According to the new blog post on Bungie's front page, rumble and mayhem will rotate weekly. Just put them in there permanently.

Player count just isn't there. They can't split the pvp community up between playlists.
According to the new blog post on Bungie's front page, rumble and mayhem will rotate weekly. Just put them in there permanently.
For an extra $20 we might think about it and tell you them words you love to hear.
We are listening
Because it would take away from their love of supremacy.

Community - "Lower TTK for primary weapons to balance teamshot and flanking." Bungie - "Increase power ammo and remove radar, got it!" Community - "Build deep lore into your actual game." Bungie - "Remove the grimoire and remove all lore. Replace with horrendous comic book. Make dialogue worse in the game. Got it!" Community - "Give us back random weapon rolls so we have a reason to grind." Bungie - "Make a forge quest that is long and drawn out with a lot of grinding that ends with weapons you can't customize or make even vaguely useful. Got it!" Community - "Can you add mass shader deletion?" Bungie - "Break shader previewing. Got it!" Community - "Will you give anything to PVE to make it more interesting ever? Update the AI, add actual story that I want to engage with, why does it take 7 months for prestige mode on a third of a raid?" Bungie - "Increase weapon damage. Got it!" You can't make this stuff up!

They have to limit the game types to keep what player base that is left, concentrated for matchmaking....that and people want it so you'll never get it.

#movedtofeedback Let's make sure this actually gets there bungo...we're fed up of being forced into playlists. Let us have a choice of everything. If you have diversity in you're ethos this would be the time to use it. Good post op
-
Either they think it will make the game seem more alive by having the game mode change weekly, or they're afraid that if everything is available it will thin out the already low PvP population so badly that some game modes won't have enough players to work.

With iron banner 6v6, and Doubles are supposed to arrive as well. Can we enjoy what's coming, without howling for more? Pleeeeease?
-
What? You want a good playlist to be permanent in the crucible? Don't be ridiculous. That's an extra $15
-
They’re probably isnt enough people playing pvp to make them permanent. Once players come back I would expect them to be there own permanent mode
-
Same reason Bungie has always seemed to have , they look at timed events as engaging content. Remember how the conference call with investors before D2 said that Bungie was going to be putting out regular content to avoid dry spells between dlc ? Well they meant things like faction rallies and seasonal events , and now modes of originally standard pvp in destiny 1 as rotating modes to try and drum up excitement , like people are going to go ; OMG rumble is this week , this will be the time of my life!!! I'm not sure they will ever get the fact that , me and alot of people, hate this kind of crap . Rallies , pvp modes , srl and other such things should not be monthly or bi monthly things like iron banner, they need to available all the time , and whenever people want to play them .
-
To create the illusion of content.
-
Yea we need more Clash in this game already.
-
Looks like you enjoy mayhem and rumble....so...no. You have to pay extra for fun.
-
They think it will force people to play
-
No fun allowed
-
because they have to sell it to you in the next dlc you don't get that for free damn i recon if they do come back you have to buy a token from tess to play them lol
-
Don't want to stretch the smaller playerbase across too many playlists.
-
Not enough silver
-
Please! But there are too few players now, queue times will be too long. As it is, everyone will play whichever is in rotation and the quickplay and competitive will be empty. Especially with the HUD removal from Competitive. That gets boring fast, imo.
-
We'll see they don't like fun and making content is hard....

Bearbeitet von ScottF 2112: 3/17/2018 4:34:42 PMthey have very few ways to draw people to the game each reset. Withholding game modes people want is one of the only tools they have. This seem so ridiculous compared to D1 where so many of us wanted to play every day, but this is where they are now. "Hey guys, it's Mayhem week, come on back!"
-
Honesty, there aren’t enough players left to split up crucible choice at this point.
-
Because no one is playing the game and if there were more playlists you’d be waiting for 10 mins
-
Because bungie doesnt understand basic game elements
