...and i last about 25 minutes feeling nothing but irritation and bewilderment at the clunky motion, non-centered aiming, ridiculously complicated combinations of keys required to do simple things. Sometimes I try that game again and maybe last 30 mins, then rarely go back a third time
Over the years I have tried Advanced Warfare, Titan Fall 1, The Order, Black Ops 3, No Mans Sky, Overwatch, Infinite Warfare, Titan Fall 2, The Division and others I can barely remember. None of them have stuck and I go back to Destiny knowing this is still the game for me. Visually stunning with incredibly fluid movement and gunplay, and simple controls. I hate over-complicated games with a passion.
I will be sticking with D2 through the upcoming improvements. and beyond. Nothing else has come close to a game I'd rather play (apart from D1 obviously)
TRENDING EDIT (obligatory): Thanks for all the comments guys (and gals). I did compose it in a moment of boredom to see how many replies I could get, and the response has been overwhelming with some great suggestions and no personal attacks, just the odd addiction joke. As a result I'm going to download Bloodborne (free on PSN), buy Horizon ZD (£14:99 PSN) and dust off The Last of Us (Remastered) to pass the time before Sandbox Update 1.1.4. Happy Gaming to All !!!

D1 was always a blast to play. Patrols, strikes, raids, prison ... everything. Every day you have bounties to do. Every week heroics, nightfall, and raid. Even at it's worse, at it's core, we were having loads of fun. D2 just doesn't have that pop. This comes from the fundamentals of the core gameplay. Weapon loadouts, skills, and ability cooldowns just aren't optimized for fun.
