...and i last about 25 minutes feeling nothing but irritation and bewilderment at the clunky motion, non-centered aiming, ridiculously complicated combinations of keys required to do simple things. Sometimes I try that game again and maybe last 30 mins, then rarely go back a third time
Over the years I have tried Advanced Warfare, Titan Fall 1, The Order, Black Ops 3, No Mans Sky, Overwatch, Infinite Warfare, Titan Fall 2, The Division and others I can barely remember. None of them have stuck and I go back to Destiny knowing this is still the game for me. Visually stunning with incredibly fluid movement and gunplay, and simple controls. I hate over-complicated games with a passion.
I will be sticking with D2 through the upcoming improvements. and beyond. Nothing else has come close to a game I'd rather play (apart from D1 obviously)
TRENDING EDIT (obligatory): Thanks for all the comments guys (and gals). I did compose it in a moment of boredom to see how many replies I could get, and the response has been overwhelming with some great suggestions and no personal attacks, just the odd addiction joke. As a result I'm going to download Bloodborne (free on PSN), buy Horizon ZD (£14:99 PSN) and dust off The Last of Us (Remastered) to pass the time before Sandbox Update 1.1.4. Happy Gaming to All !!!

I don't play much anymore. Loved D1 and I like D2 still. I'm going to be on the back bench watching waiting. Nothing to do on there. No rewards to really get anymore. Pvp is ok'ish When the loot starts raining, I'm start playing.....again lol

I agree with you. However, according to the man-babies, we can’t have our own opinions or else were called “fanboys”

Horizon zero dawn Just as good graphics, Loads of content, Massive campaign, Lengthy quests, Grind for gear and materials. Just as fun as Destiny 2. Much much better game. I bought a PS4 pro for it and haven’t played Destiny other than to log in and see what’s up in a week or so.

Skyrim. That game isn't perfect but I burned a lot of hours on it. Also try the Witcher 3
-
I’m in the same boat whilst I enjoyed games like AW and IW titanfall 2 halo 5 and stuff destiny overall just kept me around more. Mainly D1 though.

Mods. This is feedback. The OP is telling you that he will be sticking with your game, explaining how he prefers playing it over other games. He even quoted direct feedback to how the game is made:
'Visually stunning with incredibly fluid movement and gunplay, and simple controls.'
As you are moving posts to feedback, please make sure to move this one also.

Bearbeitet von jezreel01: 3/17/2018 5:08:16 AMYeah same bro still playing D2 but its getting stale....trying out D1 I love crucible and there's just not enough players to get a game....My friends are playing Fortnite and to be honest it just sucks....i just can't play that for more than 10 mins....

It's okay. There are a lot of people who are incapable of adapting to difference and change. Most people who haven never played destiny encountered destiny 2 and were instantly revolted by the bad weapon physics, the lumbering and awkward movement, the ridiculous implementation of melees, supers, and grenades... And then they quit because the game sucks... But once you have fully adapted to the game, other games controls feel awkward and clunky because you're use to playing a game that handles like a school bus instead of a race car. Don't worry, you're not alone. A lot of human beings find it difficult to adapt to change. It's kinda like how you have to keep explaining to your great grandmother how to use email... The reasdon why Destiny 2 appeals is because it takes literally no brain power to play.... You can go into crucible and play falling down drunk and still maintain a 1.3 KDR... I know from experience. You cannot do that with any other game... The fact you can do it with this game indicates that the physics are bad, not good, because it means everyone is forced into an experience where in they play as if they are drunk.

Bloodborne is good but it will take few days to break it in and start enjoying it. Same goes for any game of that genre dark souls etc. Based on your preferences you seem to like shooters at a slowed down pace. I would try the BioShock series i thought they were great. Don't rely on Destiny 2 mate, its more of a fashion show than a game. I dunno how this cosmetics craze came about but its clear the team at bungie spend ALOT of time on things like shaders, ornaments, bracelets, hairbands, eye shadow, lipstick wtc , which takes away from what could be actual content going into the game.

Give Horizon:ZD time. It's a slow start, and I put it to the side for a year because I didn't enjoy it very much. Picked it up again recently to give it another try and it all clicked into place. It's one of the best games I've played.

Hey u know any v.a. jobs having auditions soon? I'm trying to get out there.

Black ops 3 has slow and clunky movements compared to d2?!?! You do realize it plays at 60fps right? 😅
Visually stunning with incredibly fluid movement and gunplay, and simple controls.
I have never experienced Leg playing Destiny like I got with Call of Duty titles. I even like the Collision detection in Destiny's. These are the sole reasons why I like Destiny so much. There are not many other Shooters out there at have crafted such a well-rounded game physics mechanics engine.

Two words, button assignment! Ps4 has this in the settings. Remap any buttons to match the layout you are accustomed to. There are far better game developers that actually listen from the start and want you to play there games.

Destiny is not a bad game. It was the WRONG game. Even with its obvious flaws and shortcomings, it is still one of the best and best-feelling PVE shooters/looter shooters out there. I've played all of those games except The Order....and while they all do SOME things better than Destiny....I wouldn't pick any of them over Destiny (2) if I had to choose one game to play for the foreseeable future, and only that one game. ...and to my list you can add: Mass Effect: Andromeda, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Warframe, Borderlands 2, Diablo 3, Assassin's Creed: Origins, Watchdogs (1 and 2), Elite Dangerous, Quantum Break, and many others. The only issue with Destiny 2 is that I don't like it as much as Destiny 1. Not that I like so many other games better than it.

D1 was always a blast to play. Patrols, strikes, raids, prison ... everything. Every day you have bounties to do. Every week heroics, nightfall, and raid. Even at it's worse, at it's core, we were having loads of fun. D2 just doesn't have that pop. This comes from the fundamentals of the core gameplay. Weapon loadouts, skills, and ability cooldowns just aren't optimized for fun.

Good luck man.

Since the local Toysrus is closing, I’ve been going on a game buying tear. FFXV, Skyrim, Mariokart 8, etc. will I stop playing Destiny? Nope. I do take breaks to shake things up though. Otherwise I would burn out like I did trying to get the full Hyabusa set back in Halo 3.
-
Same for me back in 2014 when d1 dropped, all I played for 3 years and occasionally some GTA or cod
-
I have done the same on x1 and ps4 Over past 3 yrs Usually when it gets slow or i get bored on Destiny I go play other games Usually still log in for an hr here or there mayb a couple Crucible matches But Destiny has been my Main game for 3 yrs now .... Even when it was slow(content drought) on D1 i always had a couple friends on or LFG forumns But even tho i still play D2 Its harder now cause i have zero friends that play and its LFG is pretty much non existent Either way Im in Destiny for the long run This game to me is fun The lore the gameplay the chase On a personal note this game got me through some dark times in my life and was an outlet for me during TTK So Destiny is my main game everything else is second

I agree with you. Gunplay, movement etc, top notch! Have not come across a better system. Skybox is great - but once you get used to it just... there i guess. Nothing special, lots of games have amazing skyboxes. Apart from that i would say Destiny 2 has no other redeemable qualities. Idk why people still play. I just come here for my salt intake.
