So I came back to Destiny after a while, at launch I played it with an AMD r9 290 and all was well, recently upgraded my monitor to 1440p gsync and the graphic card to a 1080TI. I was surprised to experience such poor performance in the game.

Everything I'm looking at in your error dump indicates to me that you did not do a clean replacement of your graphics card. It looks like you have some conflict in your system attempting to use both graphics drivers and it is causing a memory dump which is crashing not only Destiny, but a ton of other programs (Razer programs, Corsair programs, etc.). I would suggest removing all of your Radeon drivers in safe mode and then reinstalling a fresh update of the most recent nvidia software.
