Fool me once... I guess. Still gonna laugh at the dumpster fire though.
-
Stop while you can. You’re sounding like Luke Smith’s protégé.
-
Too bad your opinion of me means absolutely nothing.
-
I didn’t make the game.
-
Nope, but you chose to buy it.
-
-
It’s your fault for not looking into what you were planning to buy
-
But it’s not my fault for the game turning out like it did and the subsequent controversies. It’s not my fault that the population left sometime after launch and is still in perpetual free fall. It’s not my fault that investors are now concerned about Destiny 2’s 2018 aspects. You really didn’t think this through.
-
Yeah but you’re one of the people who quit because they supposedly “didn’t get what you paid for” even though they said exactly how the game was gonna be and put out trailers and a beta, it’s your fault for hyping this game up and on top of that backlashing when you got it You didn’t think this through not me
-
You’re still not thinking this through, because either way it goes, it still affects the bottom line. That’s from decisions Bungie themselves made. How the customer feels about the end product is a moot point, regardless if people avoid it or buy it and express mass disappointment since Destiny is a long term project. But I suspect that’s not your point. You’re thinking no further than “let’s get the baddie people off the forum”.
-
No im just saying don’t blame the company for lying when they told you exactly what they did to change this game
-
I’m not. But I will blame them for said changes since their unwarranted. I will blame them for the loss in the population due to, again, said changes. I will blame them for their abysmal communication. I will blame them for purposely shifting their efforts into Eververse. I will blame them for investors no longer having confidence in them. Only thing I believe they straight up lied about was the whole XP throttling. However, that was egregious enough to engulf themselves in the outrage they received.
-
They said the changes before launch if you or anyone else did not take it upon themselves to look up the changes then it is your fault not bungies
-
Why are you regurgitating points already discussed? It’s like that’s your only argument and you’re sticking to it. Also, they made the changes, but it’s not their fault? That’s cognitive dissonance there.
-
It’s the fact that they said they were making them and the community had the info and proceeded to claim that they changed it without saying anything and blamed them for not bringing it up even though they did
-
-
As I thought. You can’t explain it.
-
No shit. I'm not a mind reader.
-
How else does one find out FOR THEMSELVES how it plays? Totally unfair comment. If I trusted what I read on the forums before buying a game, I'd not have any games to play. If I trusted what I read on gaming websites, I'd believe every game was a 9.7 of 10. You gotta buy the game to know what's in it!

Beta, gameplay trailers, interviews discussing what’s in the game
-
Bearbeitet von Nineball2112: 2/28/2018 3:44:56 PM
Beta, gameplay trailers, interviews discussing what’s in the game
And Bungie and their fanboys lied, misconstrued, obfuscated, and told "half-truths" the entire way. How many times were we told AFTER everyone played the Beta, and everyone was complaining about it, that the Beta was "an old build" and that it would play faster in the retail game? Yeah, it was all BS.
-
Where and when don’t claim they lied during promotion of d2 with no proof
-
Miscontruing, obfuscating, and telling "half truths" is equivalent to lying to me. I just gave you an example in my original post. I'm not about to take the time to give you links to all the stuff that you would refuse to acknowledge anyways. You can pretend they didn't do those things, but everyone knows that you're just pretending. At this point, I don't give a crap one way or the other about Bungie or this game.
-
You’ve given one example and as a counter example I’ll tell you that they said we were gonna be moving slower and our abilities would be weaker, you knew what would be in this game if you actually looked into it before the bought it
-
Thanks for agreeing with me on the "half truths". They said the Beta was an old build and we would be moving faster. Maybe they DID increase movement speed (which would have been literally true), but it is no where NEAR the movement speed of D1 (so, it was a half-truth). They have never been on the complete up and up and have always implied things without telling us the whole truth. Believe me, I DID look into it before I bought it. And I bought it with an uneasy feeling that it wouldn't be to my liking. However, like most everything in life, until you actually experience it, you don't know if you'll like it or not. I admit I should have gone with my gut feeling and not bought the game. But hindsight is 20/20.
