It does work first think of this. If you dont have multiple characters, check your collections and make sure you dont have every exotic gear piece you claim is a duplicate. If you do have multiple characters think of what you're going for. DO you want a weapon or armor piece? If you have all weapons collectible from drops, then the engram will only give you armor pieces you dont have for the class buying the engram. Example/ "Fated Engram broken, my warlock already had Obsidian aspects,where are the drops for my HUnter" the warlock ready has full exotic gear set and account has all exotic weapons. So switch to your hunter and buy the engram and you should recieve a fated engram, next week Example of engram working/ My own experience, Wow my warlock has all the exotic armor pieces, even after last week when i thought i already had the Skull of dire ahamkara/ Wonder what i should do with xur since I'm only missing coldheart. -GOes to Xur buys exotic hunter piece didn't already have, then buys engram as warlock. "Cool, coldheart" Now with all weapons dropped only armor will drop for my hunter and a titan should i ever mae one
