Reading the exotic weapon changes on the last TWAB really gives me hope for the rest of the exotics...but I would like to know more about some of the future changes on exotics so I and other members of the community can give feedback before their implementation.
Graviton lance's changes sound really good and I can't wait to try it out after the patch, but I would like to know more specifics on a few exotics in particular.
No.1 hardlight.
It's my favorite exotic in the game because of its design and it's potential, but it's also one of the worst weapons in the game.
Being so inaccurate makes having infinite range pointless, and the ricochet rounds serve no purpose other than for a light show.
I at the least, hope to see it receive a recoil reduction to make it handle more like the other auto rifles so it can be used more seriously.
I would also like to see a hotkey for quickly switching elements.
As for the ricochet rounds...maybe give them some sort of marking mechanic or maybe the ricochet bullets cause more damage.
No.2 sunshot
It's such a great looking weapon, it handles pretty well, but it kind of...sucks.
I would like to see a magazine increase from 8 to 10, and a recoil reduction.
The weapon should have an rng effect that can cause burn.
The hotter the mag, the greater the chance to cause a burn.
No. 3 sweet business
Ammo reserves, that's all.

So basically every exotic will get its own emblem that tracks the amount of kills you've got with it in both PVE and PVP. But due to technical difficulties the total number of kills will just be divided in half and split between the 2.

How about hardlights rounds do massively more damage if they ricochet.

So basically the changes to exotics is that they are going to double the amount of ornaments available for them.
