Lemme splane some 2 u. During TTK D2 was in development. The lead of D2 left or got fired and everything was scrapped for whatever reason. Maybe he (and a few other lead who are unfortunately still on the D2 team) had no idea wtf he was doing.
When the first lead left, Luke took charge and If any one could remember d2 was meant to release in 2016, but due to the reboot it was pushed back. WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE ORIGINAL CUT FOR D2 WAS GOING TO BE.
Reboot=push back.
Push back=16 months to work on a full game.
What developer do you know can do that?
Sure they had outside help, but still, 16 months? Come on people. Use that brain.
Is the game fun for me, and am I still playing it? No, and once this week for an emote.
Do I think the game can get better?....🤔yeah? Maybe.
Do I think we should bitch about the game not being what it should be....still.... every single day?
No. Move on like the rest of us. Bungie knows by now that some of these new addition are trash. 4v4, weapons system, raid revives, trash.
There is absolutely no reason to keep saying the game sucks. The number of players not playing shows how bad things are.
I keep saying this, but "all we can do is wait for the fall". Until then, play other games, get a jobs..gaww
Edit: and we dont know if the state of D2 is on Luke. He is not the only lead, and he does not have final say on every aspect of the game. Lets. research before jumping to conclusions.
Edit: The fall Dlc will make or break the Destiny franchise. I can say that. Players who are gone won't come back, and bungie could lose the people who are playing.
Let's give them room to fail or succeed. Let them do it in peace. Don't get too quiet, tell them what made destiny work.
Don't get too quiet, tell them what made destiny work.
I agree completely. I remember the focus of the first announcement for Gears 4. It wasn't the story, or weapons, or maps, or modes, or weather... It was the mechanics, specifically the controls. Why? The abomination prequel (that shall go unnamed) that came before it completely botched the controls that players had come to know from every other Gears game: d-pad weapon swap between two long weapons, a pistol, and grenades was replaced by a two weapon carry system with y-button swap and bumper to use grenades. This, combined with the unnecessary fixation on vertical map builds in versus (pvp) for a third person, cover-based shooter with no jump ability effectively destroyed the nature of the gameplay, which has become so influential that even modern third person games still attempt to replicate its cover mechanics. The announcement was to lay a foundation of good faith; to assure the playerbase that they weren't just listening, they were taking the criticism to heart and building the new game on the ground created by that feedback. Then the next announcements showed that Gears 4 did what a sequel should: take the good from the past, work on the bad, then add new things into the mix that feel like they belong like the dropshot and the weather hazards. Sure, I was disappointed to see the locust return, but happy to see the mix of new enemies and even old enemies with new mechanics. I can't stand the "gears-pack" loot box system that effects everything from cosmetics to bounties and horde class abilities, but I love the way classes interact and contribute to the new horde mode and the way they can be customized to empathize team support or personal survival.
Yes, I play a scout and carry two shotguns. Always offer my retro to the engineer because I need them to stay alive and make the most out of the resources I deposit.
What did they keep from the prequel abomination? One gun. What made them change everything else back before adding anything? Fans calling out the crap.

I feel a better line would have been "winter is coming" lol

They've already failed, you cuck.
-
Lmao, buy silver

Spot on sir (or Madam).

I identify as a store.
-
Lol .... enjoy your day 😀

I will come here to bitch bitch bitch until I get content and a game that is worth the 100 € I spent for it. The only thing I enjoyed so far was the Raid and some public events. The story is even more shit than D1s story, which didn't really exist. Only TTK had a good story ala the grimoire cards that told the origins of the Hive aka "Book of Sorrows". Next time I have 100€ to spare, I will buy a good SciFi book saga. Reading seems to be more interesting than playing at this point. Books don't contain shops with loot boxes at least.
-
You want good sci fi books....warhammer 40k..lots of gore and great stories. Way better than d2. (Black library .com)
-
Oh and I feel you on that 100£ thing. This game should not have been shipped at full price. We are on the same team.
-
For what we paid we have a right to feel pissed off and robbed.
-
I don't think you read what I said
-
So long as it's feedback,I dont care. But "-blam!- you bungie" isn't getting us anywhere. I was just adding some perspective to the salt.
-
Next time you have 100 to spare. What? How about getting a job. Holy cow. People act like a 100 is a lot. It used to be in 1970 , but not now. If you want content and if you want a lot of it, get a career and pay 14 a month to play ffxiv there are a million things to do there and you won't be bored.
-
Dude with the state the economy is in for some $100 is allot of cash, these peeps may only be able to purchase a game once every quarter so they want that game to have longevity and not be boring. D1 succeeded in doing that, not from day one I'll admit, but they soon fixed it and changed it. D2 will totally leave these peeps who saved their $100 of precious cash dissapointed, so I can totally understand their argument.
-
I hear you. And maybe for a kid in school 100 is a lot of money, but if it is and you don't have much you shouldn't have purchased a 3 to 400 hundred dollar gaming system, most likely a dedicated tv for it and then 100 for a deluxe game edition. What they should have been doing with their time is training and developing a skill that will make their life easier. I'm first generation born in USA I didn't have squat growing up, and I am a blue collar worker but I do skilled work and it payed off.
-
So you are in the business of throwing money at the screen? How fitting. It's irrelevant how much you earn. The question is what you get dor that money. They also have 8.4 million customers who also do mictrotransactions, which means this game should be a lot cheaper than a game with only 50000 customers.
-
I don't throw money, I make it. Why don't you divide the amount of hours you have played this game by 100 and see how much it has really cost, and then figure out how much it cost to I don't know.. See a movie or something.
-
So you are a bankster running a money making scheme? Giving people credit aka debt and slice some 5 to 10% away and put it in yourown pocket?
-
It’s not about money it is about valuing the money You sound spoilt brat who probably cries that millennials ruin everything
-
How does one gaww exactly? I’m curious...
-
Easy, buy silver and I'll tell you.😈

Bearbeitet von Househ0ld item: 2/17/2018 3:07:36 PMDon't know where you get 16 months from. Destiny 2 was already started in 2014 https://www.tomsguide.com/us/destiny-2-announced,news-19872.html You say 16 months like it's a solid reason to release a half finished game.
