Its complete garbage like all other final round guns in this game.
Just got done testing it, here are the results from 2 different lost sectors against trash and unshielded majors, all crit damage:
The last 16 rounds get the additional damage. Rounds 16-23 do 3% additional damage. 24-26 = 4% additional damage. 27 + 28 = 4.5%. 29 + 30 = 5%, 31 + 32 = 6%. This is against majors. Against trash, its 1% lower on the last 2 rounds with correlating adjustments for the other rounds in between.
Long story short. If you add up all the additional damage added from the 16 perk rounds, its less than 1 (one) unperked bullets damage.
The gun is complete trash, and that is before addressing its stability issue.

This testing has been done before, and it’s stability isn’t the problem... it’s the trash dps this gun has... they lowered its fire rate by 1/5 and increased its damage by 1/7 or 1/10 of the 450s... and didn’t even give it a respectable range! It’s damage fallout is only a few meters more... and it’s range is double stat wise... I hate the way they even left the ammo reserves the same as the 450s, a trait unique to this frame. (both adaptive and rapid fire frames have more ammo since they do less damage) It basically screams “this weapon frame has very little damage difference to the 450” I would rather they increase its damage, lower its mag size, and decrease the reserves... this change would make it work better in Crucible, Especially if they buffed it’s range to be great at near scout rifle distances... but no they nerfed it’s recoil range and damage before the game even came out to make sure there were as few usable weapons as possible lol all to make heavies more wanted.
