No. But a lot of her stock needs to come out and be rewards for targeted grinds so that there is a more healthy and balanced array of end-game incentives/rewards. The current system is too inclusive for some players tastes.

  • I don't really mind her presents however I don't believe chance rewards are best but should maybe remain to a extent for people who want to gamble with chance but. I think if Destiny had creature loot pool to reward these items as well or a challenge system like borderlands 2 badass system this might help to fix the game but as it is currently it's just hurting the game, Thanks for your time and comment

  • Understand. But there is no perfect system. Once you start attaching specific items to specific in-game accomplishments, you strat putting items out of reach of particular (types) of players....and the system starts to become exclusionary. Look at Trials in D1. That system was the ultimate in an exclusionary reward system. ...and what happened? You got a "carry culture' that sprang up to help people cheese their way around the skill barrier. ...and then there were the DoS'ers and dDoss'ers who just tried to CHEAT their way past it. Imo, the game needs a balance of both kinds of reward systems, so that you appeal to a wide variety of players while keeping community toxicity and divisiveness to a minimum.

  • Yes I understand but even if people are helping others to obtain things are fine that's kinda what community is supposed to be and I'm not a pvper but am ok with exclusive stuff for PvP players it just seems like Destiny 2 progression is the worse of 2 evils if you compare it to Destiny 1 imo I understand people charged others for trials runs and that's wrong however putting all rewards behind a paywall is like bungies trials carry charge ) I do get it though that eververse is there for people who would rather pay but not everyone is a whale and exp progression for 1box sucks and you hardly ever get anything good because rng in eververse is crap

    That's just it. There's no paywall. Anything that is in Eververse can be earned with game play...and its ANY game play you want to engage in. The only thing that Bungie has done is that they've stripped these items of any status of in-game TROPHIES for specific accomplishments....and the community status that goes along with it. THAT's what's bugging people. It not that Bungie is gouging us for micro-spending. Because they aren't. Not when I'm getting three "lootboxes" for just a couple hours of play last night. But what I can't do is go to the Tower and feel like a badass because I've got this new ghost....and no one else does.

  • Yeah I know we get 3 boxes faster every week it's still a chance at something with a better chance it's trash That's the problem many players have , it's psychologically manipulating players into paying for chance gambling away real money for things that should be incentive to keep players engaged, I played a lot the day before reset doing normal things and my exp gain was so slow it took 4 hours for 1 box and got nothing worth the time played , had there been a system in place to see what rewards you get from doing a activity and spending time playing then I would not have felt I wasted my time, this is why players are dropping like flies there is nothing to actually obtain without paying for rng scam

Its there so that players who are more casual can keep up and not be totally left behind by people who are no-lifeing the game. Which is why you can also buy exp boosters with silver dust...and NOT SILVER. The people who are "dropping like flies" are the people who---like you---want to be able to grind for a SPECIFIC item. ...and EVERY time I get that person talking at length and honestly, the issue isn't the item itself. Its the meaning/status that they ATTACH to the item...and the in-game "accomplishment" that was necessary to obtain it. And the grind LIMITS the scope of people who are capable of obtaining it. Which is what Eververse and its inclusive system STRIPS the item of...essentially making it available to everyone who plays the game long enough or often enough....and thus causing it to lose its appeal to that kind of player. They turn up their nose at that they see as a "participation trophy." OTOH, I'm a different kind of player. The things you want simply arent' what motivate me. To me, all these things are just fun toys to play with...and I'm not looking for any status or for any meaning from the items. So I'm quite content to play the game as I want...and see what cool things I get from the engrams. But I also realize that different people respond to different motivations....and Bungie needs to fix the system to so that it appeals to a WIDE variety of players, and not just one particular type (me).

  • Kelly I understand your view but I'm not here to argue a point I'm simply here because I am unsatisfied with the product and I do feel it's wrong to even have micro transactions in a AAA game where it seems there intent to rob us blind at every event or expansion ,we buy only half of this product to then be at the hands of rng or pay for the other half of the game it's radical that people justify this practice in games we pay full price for , if d2 was gonna pull this crap it should have been a free to play but greed is the reason and it shows maybe not to some but it shows Thanks for your time and comment Wishing you a wonderfully day Kelly
