My biggest issue that they didn't learn a damn thing from The Leviathan. That people want to be rewarded for their efforts. Beat the crystal phase last night and the chest pops. One person gets a shotgun, one gets a piece of armor and the other four, who put in just as much effort, get THREE measly tokens.
Wtf Bungie?

I got all the way upto the last boss and only had 7 tokens drop from the chests. Was very pleased NOT

You should stop crying and look at videos from old raids. The raid lair isn’t a full raid for one, and two it’s on par with rewards from old raids
-
Yeah and it was bullshit back then, too. RNG on top of RNG with a dash of RNG. Anyone who thinks it's fine that people get rewarded based more on luck than effort is delusional.
-
Your crying because you’re playing a game genre you don’t like
-
Except I love the genre. I played the crap out of the Borderlands games and the Diablo series. But every event was repeatable snd let you farm for the item you wanted. I only have an issue when there's a lockout that prevents being able to do that.

Anyone playing a looter shooter and thinking RNG is a bad system is hilariously delusional.

Bearbeitet von KLGChaos: 12/9/2017 11:10:53 AMSOME RNG is fine. For example, random weapon or armor drops. But when you have a chance to get nothing at all or 1/7th of a rep level (which is about what 3 tokens is worth) AND it's on a weekly lockout with no way to repeat for a drop chance, it's a bad system. It was even worse when items used to have a random chance to drop below your power level. You want to have a ton of RNG on easily repeatable shit like strikes and public events? That's fine. But events with lockouts should follow a different system.

If the lair is like the first Leviathan, you get guaranteed loot. Pretty sure the boss gives you something guaranteed, and if not you'll get something from one of the other phases.
