Expectation problem. He wanted this elaborate campaign story because it was about Osiris. When what got—and needed—was an introduction to the [b]man[/b]...and a chance to see that no one can live up to the hype built up around him. He’s a highly intelligent, wise, bad-ass of a warrior and scholar. But he’s still a fallible human being. In the end I was expecting him to return to the city. But the choice to have him return to his post ad sentinel was the right one. He’s the kind of guy who leads from the front. Not from behind the lines.

Whoa, i'm blind? No, i'm merely enjoying something that met my expectations. My view even allows for a person to feel underwhelmed by the DLC overall. I do not judge a person for saying, "I don't like it and feel it's not worth the $20's" What I did take issue with is how piss poor that review was and how ridiculously focused on the campaign it is. Everyone that has been playing Destiny since D1 vanilla knows the campaigns are not the game. They're basically tutorials with a touch of exposition. The game has always been the grind for gear and power creep. It's about fun with friends while blasting aliens or trying to out-compete others in the crucible. I'm guessing the IGN reviewer couldn't solo the heroic adventure and decided to not bring it up AT ALL. I'm guessing he hadn't even completed the first verse in time, prior to meeting the deadline for the "review". The review is a "first impression" and serves fine as one, but as a review of the expansion is intellectually dishonest from the stance of video-game journalism, imo. *EDIT* How is it "objective" when a good deal of what's in the DLC isn't even mentioned? That isn't objectivity bro =) What content is locked in loot boxes btw?
