This is a direct quote of my post on reddit. I think that this is clear enough. Remember I don't want that this Adventures get easier or something. We just need some reminders for getting a team.
I died over 25 times in the heroic "Up-and-Up" adventure, missed the timer challenge AND was after killing this f°°°ing mother°°°°er of fallen captain nearly to break my goddamn controller. You really did it. No pve Mission I've ever played setted me so hard up than this heroic adventures! If you play it solo you're completely f°°°ed because you die too fast to solve the challenges. I had 6 minutes to finish all parts of the adventure. I needed 18 minutes.
I'm not a bad player. Hell, I'm a really good pve/pvp player but this missions are too hard for the crowd. Even for pve-gods is it to hard.
So please give this heroic adventures a fireteam requirement or something in that way. I passed this hell closely. Don't let others feel this pain too.
Edit: I think that some of you do miss the point of my post. I don't hate primary (this it is a quote of my reddit post) the adventures because they are hard. I really want to improve them. I like the difficulty which I experienced but I think that the activity should be focused on a fireteam activity. To say it easy. That's what I want as activities in D2 but alone it seems a little bit too hard. So bring the people together ;)
Edit 2: GrandBahookii said it perfectly:
I do see your point on this. I think that a small little pop up window that says "hey you might want to bring some friends" would be a good idea before the adventure starts.
Edit 3: I beat the timer together with a friend and we just got 2 green Tokens more and a legendary shader. Worth it (not).

I feel this! Currently trying to do Psionic Potential (Heroic) for the Nascent Dawn pursuit and every time I get momentum/inertia as the debuff, though this most recent time, I don't know if something loaded wrong or if Bungo hates me, but I found that I had no shown debuff and that I was just healing ridiculously slowly. I've never experienced this before and I couldn't stay alive long enough to damage anything! I suppose I'll give it another shot, but man, I need a fireteam.
-
Man! I completely understand your point. I just spent an hour trying to solo one and it felt like a nightfall. Granted, I'm under leveled (345) it was all I could do to kill just about anything. I found myself running out of ammo before I could take out any of the shielded enemies. And yes, I was matching element types. Definately need a heads up that you need a fireteam

They are difficult which wouldnt be a big deal except the loot you get isnt worth a damn. I dont mind if something is hard and I die 1000000 times if the loot I get pays off and in this case it doesnt. You get 306 gear which is lower than what I currently have without even doing these. Why should I solo these and put myself through this if all I get is lvl 306 gear. Bungie WTF????? Make the gear lvl 320-330, then I dont care. At least if it is a piece I wont wear I could make my gear stronger with it but no the base power is too low. This is BS I see no point in running these except to make everything else seem easier.
-
Yeah, defo tough solo, done “the runner” last night ,bullets just bounced off the big fat cabal boss chap, think I’m around 310 power,oh and I died at least 15 times.
-
I solo all 3 multiple times across all 3 of my characters and it’s really not that hard
-
I am glad something in Destiny is actually hard now.
-
It's doable solo. It's a bit ridiculous at times I'll grant you that. You need healing rifts a gogo and masterwork weapons that create orbs but it's doable.
-
I’m a casual. Never Raided, never Trials. beat Up and Up on Heroic within the time limit when I was a 310.
-
The heroic adventures seem to be on a similar level or difficulty and structure to a nightfall. The primary difference between the two (and the thing that makes Nightfalls objectively harder) is the timer. That's all a heroic adventure is...and it's boring. Oh, you having a bit of trouble killing that asshole captain or those thrall gangbangers? Charge and spray bullets at them like an autistic squirrel and if you get even a single inch of red-bar off a badguy then congratulations; you just made progress. Re-spawn and try again because there is literally no penalty for dying. Your opponents may have military grade tracking and unreasonably high health, but you have infinite lives and can't feel pain; It's not even close to a fair fight. -As a side, y'all said you wanted a grind, so Bungo went and made you one. This garbage is grindier than a grind wheel grinding a grind rail in a New England deli that ONLY SELLS -blam!-ING GRINDERS! This is the bed you made; now lay in it.
-
You do know you can do the adventures on normal if you can't hack the heroic right? These should not be changed. There needs to be challenging solo pve content and if you cant do it solo then you are welcome to do it with a fireteam. Just because you cant do it doesnt mean others can't. It's not as if you are locked out of the content.
-
you really really really WANT TWO TOKENS AND A BLUE.
-
easy enough to do if you forget about the timer and snipe/grenade the buggers to death, keep super charge until your mobbed and accept you will die a few times, oh and a decent rocket launcher helps.

Bearbeitet von LoosiiGoosey: 12/14/2017 9:43:16 AMI tried the heroic adventure "Up-and-Up" with one of my mates and it was a bloodbath. I'm Light 306 with primary Scathelocke and secondary Sunshot with Nightstalker as my sub-class and my mates 319 with primary Rat King and Perseverance secondary with the Warlock arc sub-class. It was fine up until the main platforms where he couldn't make the jumps and floated to his death and the Fallen ripped me to shreds. It wasn't until he got his 324 mate online that we actually completed the f***ing thing.

I done my heroic adventures solo
-
Tbh: Its way to easy if you play with a full fireteam. But I can understand your point there, a hint shoukd be added or atleast the difficulty should change
-
The problem I have with the Infinite Forest is it routes you in ways that leave you screwed for cover, enemies in groups all of the sudden become sniper gods, and you can get trapped behind cover even when you find it. Theres been a few times the onslaught of fire just wouldnt stop long enough for me to even take a peek. And the AI all of a sudden learned how to plant grenades right behind me when im behind cover. Sure I can sit back and snipe or scout everything, but that feels so broken to me for some reason. It seems like it wants you to find a nice spot and pick everything off one by one, which makes the design feel cheap. Your gonna get killed because you chose not to be forced into that gameplay style. I want difficult, love the challenge, but you cant dump me in a corner with no cover. Your removing the players skill from being a factor and making things more about how the AI will just keep dumping on you with cheap shots. And my god the bullet sponge is strong. Your just gonna drop a ton of bullets down on some of these bosses for what seems like forever and nothing you throw at them makes any real dent. Overall I am glad we have something harder but it feels like Bungie tied your shoes together and then set the dogs on you because making smarter AI wasnt possible.
-
You're really good, but struggled that much? Guess that makes me a god. Lol
-
I'm not bothered that they are difficult to solo, I love it. I just don't think difficulty is scaled correctlywhen a team steamrolls trough it with ease. They need to adjust solo vs team, like in Diablo 3 for example its balanced a bit better. Bungie should take note from Blizzard...
-
Bearbeitet von Trollefix: 12/14/2017 8:52:18 AMIve done them alone. Its a challenge in deed but that is what i like about them. Ive done all 3 previously but by reset this week the bug in the system is all of a sudden avaliable again on the map. Is this a bug or is it like a reset thing every week?
-
You guys complain the game is for casuals and they gave you something hard as -blam!- like we wanted. I had a tough time too but felt accomplished when I finished. You wanted a grind and we got it with lost prophecies and we're complaining about that now too.
-
i just feel like they went with the easiest and laziest route to make something challenging. make every enemy an annoying bullet sponge and add a silly timer. there we did it! it's challenging! yay! it's boring and super annoying. i want to feel powerful again AND be challenged but instead i feel weak and annoyed. it's not fun, you don't feel powerful and challenged like D1 endgame.
-
I don't think it would be as hard if you had primary secondary and heavy
-
Up and up was abitch lol Add me if you’re on PS4
-
Soloed heroic "on the run" within the time limit using my nightstalker running Orpheus rig in my first try.. died 3 times... I'm definitely no PvE god so it's possible... don't know how hard the others are though. Just knew "on the run" would have been the most doable solo.
-
Worth it (not)
Yikes. Is that coming back or are you as old as I am? If it is coming back . . . I blaming Fuller House. HaHa
-
i enjoy them solo, i have 55 completions of heroic adventures
