I guess it comes down to whether or not you are willing to accept D2 being a watered down generic FPS. Because thats the territory it currently resides in.

Because thats the territory it currently resides in.[/quote] TBH I usually accept the way games are. I play way too many games to overly concern myself with “what it should or could be”. There were no UPDATES or patches in gaming till recently. You either liked and played or didn’t and moved on. Nowadays our standards are so low that we’d rather wait/cry till the game gets better than playing something else. If games were complete at launch there would be no need for improvements. You get the game you pay for.
