You nerfed xp gains. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?! was it seriously worth the time and resources to attempt to screw over players, and then have to fix it? You introduced a short event for boosted xp, and then you friggin nerfed xp gains??.. no wonder it took me 8 heroic events to finish off my progress bar when it was already at about 90%.. I swear you are trying to kill this game. There is no other reason to do all the bad that you have done. you got something you'd rather be doing? Go do it, and let somebody else have your job, because this shit has gotten completely out of hand.

Technically they didn't nerf exp gains but instead they doubled the required exp amounts from 80k to 160k.

I thought it was pretty clear that each bright engram would take more and more xp to get...but I was looking at the bar rather than the numbers...i don't really care that instead of making the bar need more points to fill, they reduced the amount of xp that is rewarded. I mean, what's the difference between a bar that takes longer to fill, and events giving less xp?
-
They did this so you can have pride and accomplishment when you earn your next bright engram...
-
So it will take longer to earn crap rewards? Oboy. Don’t forget the cool down on looting chests. Destiny 2: the only FPS/RPG game that penalizes you for playing.

Bearbeitet von djwar1: 11/27/2017 4:53:36 PMBungie, do some flipping work! Your game sucks on so many levels, this forum could publish a few books. Like, on how to get rich off doing nothing, taking advantage of clients or how to deliver on nothing and charge extra for everything. This company is a sham. Get back to work. Design some weapons and shit. Makes me nuts being taken advantage of and being milked like a dairy cow. (Don’t own a dairy cow)

Bearbeitet von hemlock: 11/25/2017 6:24:09 PMThey are not trying to kill the game, they were trying to get people into microtransactions. It's so obvious that was the goal here. Getting people desperate enough so they would be dropping some cash for bright engrams. Smh. -blam!-ing Bungie.
-
They want you to buy bright engrams not earn them.
-
And you're an attention-seeking child. Please stop.
-
Wait a min! Nothing personal. But why the hell is it in this game in the first place when there is not progression system in this game. Is this another "we heard you guys wanted a fire team to run the lost sectors"?

There's obviously a push going on to try and nudge players to take the easy route and just buy bright engrams. So I've seen people propose a boycott. Let's face it people are still going to play and purchase the DLC. But and it's a big but I think players should now refuse to purchase any bright engrams. That would still send a pretty clear message.

If they did the fix, then my friends have not been able to see it in their testing. One who is almost as high as me said it still takes him close to 225K points to roll a bright. By the way. We got our xp counts by recording the entire game and rewatching it to score the xp earned. The higher your level gets, the more xp is required to get to the next level. I havent done it in a while because I refuse to play a game like this.

This company has fallen apart, no point in playing their game. I uninstalled today, I felt a weight lifted from my shoulders. I get on the forums now to see the company burn
-
They added caps to xp. To encourage microtransactions ,Buy bright engrams . people are happy because they removed the cap. Seriously? They -blam!-ing blocked us from earning xp so we could buy bright engrams. The problem is if they weren't caught they would still be doing it . Shit bungo

Lol no see you have it all wrong. Bungie did not nerf XP gains because XP is intrinsically linked with their monetization. They nerfed it because they want people to have fun in Destiny and to play with friends. Not farm repeated activities. You ought to be doing strikes with friends that...well your friends list is empty...ok you ought to solo queue in strike playlists so randoms can join you and then leave and join you and leave and by the end of the 20 minutes you finally beat the boss and get...well a rare weapon and few tokens. But keep doing strikes though! Eventually all those tokens and all those blues will add up to...well a fair amount of gunsmith consumables and some legendary shards! Maybe you ought to try your hand at PvP. Solo queue isn't so bad. We will make you feel like you're not alone by pairing you up with some randoms who drop out on occasion due to being matched against 4-man pre-mades. Sure, you may come out with a negative efficiency rating and immense frustration, but by god you get your tokens and you can turn those tokens into legendary shards! There are loads of better things to do in Destiny than chain public events.

No one can say “it’s just optional” now. At this point, it’s apparent that many games that offer MTs are tweaked and tailored towards MTs deliberately.

You mean we discovered a secret XP system that INCREASES THE GRIND, and provide even more incentive to buy the bright engrams rather than grind for them? Bungie secretly implemented a system that would eventually make the grind for bright engrams so damn long that paying would be actually reasonable. We didn't nerf XP gains. We called Bungie out on their bull, and according to them: They didn't like it either. We didn't nerf anything, they did. All we did was call them out on their own plan. Which is actually kind of awesome considering that they answered a complaint. Think it'll work for all the other ones?

This is the Master Rahool moment for Destiny 2, just for the players that missed out in Destiny year one.
-
Lol that tittle.
-
You are max on all characters, I'm sure there is nothing you need from bright engrams.
-
Xp gains have been nerfed since day 1..
-
Yup. Bungle is either amazingly clueless, or complete A-holes. They have earned an enemy for life- whichever it is. F bungie.
-
Yea this game SUCKS and Bungie HATES fun👎🏻
-
This is why you cannot trust Bungie. This surreptitious stuff destroys what little trust people have in their good faith. So in typical rolling disclosure fashion they admit only to what they are caught doing. Again. ‘Memba the secret matchmaking changes? ‘Memba the denials until enterprising players with the right equipment proved the lie? ‘Memba “we will do a better job of communicating changes in the future”? Yeah. About that...
