BUFFALO, GETTING REALLY FED UP WITH YOUR SH*T BUNGIE

Have been constantly getting "buffalo" error code since 2 days before the hotfix. Can log into EU region with no issues at all, however, when I set region to NA, 90% of the time starting the Destiny 2 client actually disconnects my internet connection for 1-2 minutes. Attempted Fixes: IP renew/DNS flush Router Resets Port Forwarding Direct Modem Connection Deleted cvars Uninstall/Reinstall Patch & Fix Game Check for updates Alt+tab Client (seemed to work intermittently) Contact Blizzard Support (They only refer me to the non-existent Bungie support) Set Battle net options to exit on game start Fixes not yet tried: Bring my PC to another internet source Reinstall windows Use another PC GET A HECKIN REFUND I'm getting really frustrated up with the complete lack of support for this game (ONLY USER FORUMS, REALLY?), no email ticket support, no live chat, not even officially addressing the issue, just complete silence and an error code page that gives no helpful information on this code at all, in fact the information given "Players may encounter Buffalo errors when logging in to Destiny 2 on multiple PCs at the same time. To prevent this issue, players must ensure that they are logged out of Destiny 2 on any PC that they do not currently intend to play on." seems like a filler answer based on nothing, it seems everyone getting the error has only 1 PC. I could post my dxdiag and my msinfo, but what good would that do? The game has been working since release with no issues till a week ago, my PC and setup are fine, and sometimes I do randomly connect to the game ad have no issues playing, and have no issues with any other blizzard games or the bnet launcher. If Bungles won't even sufficiently support a game they release, the least that should be done is addressing the issues: Why is this happening? Can I expect a fix soon? Should I uninstall and get a refund? I was about to purchase the expansion pass, but now I am considering just returning the game and leaving a fat steaming pile of my opinions to whoever will listen. WILL ANYONE FROM BUNGLES EVEN READ THIS? Thanks. BUMP

  • Tried to log in again today, no longer getting any error code at all, just stuck at "Signing In" until my internet disconnects. TELL YOUR EXCELLENT NETWORKING TEAM THAT IT APPEARS TO ME THAT THE DESTINY 2 CLIENT IS SOMEHOW DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACKING MY OWN NETWORKING EQUIPMENT. THERE IS NO REASON MY INTERNET CONNECTION SHOULD DROP ENTIRELY. TO BE CRYSTAL CLEAR, WHEN THE CLIENT GETS STUCK AT "SIGNING IN" MY ENTIRE NETWORK GETS KNOCKED OFFLINE, BUT NOT BY LOSS OF CONNECTION, BUT WHAT SEEMS TO BE A FLOOD OF PACKETS THAT SEEMS TO TAKE 1-2 MINUTES TO RESOLVE. WHY NO ONE AT BUNGIE CAN SEEM RUN A NETMON, OR ASK ME FOR ANY OF MY NETWORK LOGS IS COMPLETELY BAFFLING TO ME. I HAVE A DEGREE IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND WORK IN THIS FIELD, FROM MY OBSERVATIONS THE LEVEL OF SUPPORT OFFERED FOR YOUR PRODUCT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL, I GET MORE SUPPORT FOR FREE CELL PHONE GAMES THAN FOR A GAME I PAID FULL PRICE PLUS SOME? ITS ACTUALLY PITIFUL. HOW CAN YOU TOTE THAT YOU ARE THE MAKERS OF THE HALO FRANCHISE WITH 3 BILLION IN SALES, THE DESTINY 1 FRANCHISE 500 MILLION, DESTINY 2 "GAME OF THE YEAR" "RECORD SALES IN ONE MONTH" (IF I COULD -blam!-ING PLAY IT. LOL) IT ACTUALLY SEEMS BLATANT, WHO IS LINING THEIR POCKETS BY AVOIDING HAVING A REAL SUPPORT TEAM? DO THE FORUM MODERATOR EVEN GET PAID @BNGHelp3? ALSO, SERIOUSLY, WHAT KIND OF COMPANY HAS FORUM MODERATOR "PASS ON INFORMATION" TO A DEV TEAM, SEEMS INCREDIBLY INEFFICIENT. HOW ABOUT PASS THIS ON AS WELL, SUCK IT UP AND SPEND SOME CASH HIRING AN ACTUALLY SUPPORT TEAM THAT CAN GET DETAILED TICKETS AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION FROM USERS HAVING THIS ISSUE, I CAN GET LIVE CHAT SUPPORT FOR MY -blam!-ING TOASTER BUT NOT FROM A COMPANY THAT CHAMPIONS ITSELF AT MAKING RECORD BREAKING SALES FOR SEVERAL TITLES? WHAT AN ACTUAL JOKE.

    • Pointless even saying anything anymore, bungie hasn't done crap about any issues plaguing this game since day 1, and they've pretty much stopped even replying to anyone's posts Really sad how they are running there game
