With all that's going on in the game, you would think they'd realize the enemy of my enemy is my friend in this scenario.

The real question is.. Where 👏 is 👏 Variks 👏 💔💔💔

They’re Aliens You can’t ever win with aliens
-
The Fallen and humans have all killed so many of each other that there’s likely not to be peace due to all the bad blood Other than the build up of hatred from years of bloodshed, the Guardians and Fallen tend to steal from each other and the Fallen usually have last-ditch-survival plans that involve doing bad things to humanity and the Light Hopefully in the future the Fallen will ally with us; after all, both sides are clearly sick of losing things to each other, both are the weakest and most deprived things in the system, both want the Light, and both are targeted by the other more aggressive species

Bungie are idioms that's why.
-
I think it is more of a, they got boned and it is now a fight for survival.

I'll never forget that mission on Nessus where Failsafe wants you to "rescue" Fallen prisoners from the Vex. I freed them, went out of my way to ONLY kill Vex in the ensuing chaos AND spent like 3 minutes just dodging their shots in a futile attempt to spare those morons and what do they do? "HERP DERP ME SHOOT LIGHT-MAN!!!"

Depends.. Did you kill the Hive Knight or the Fallen Captain during the mission on Titan where you descend into the Arcology to secure the methane reactor? If you killed the Knight and spared the Captain, the Fallen stop shooting you and you end up having a big bbq with them on Nessus with Legionary steaks on the grill and spiced radiolaria cocktails at the bar.

Pro tip to avoid being stabbed in the back: The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bearbeitet von TotalDramaGamer: 11/19/2017 7:58:02 PMMore like... kick 'em while they're down. Realistically, humanity is at its weakest point (well, for the .2 seconds we were lightless). The Fallen probably thought that if they can eliminate humanity while the Cabal and humanity continue to clash, they can manage to find a way to claim the Traveler. It just sucks that Bungie went the 'all the Houses are one' direction all of a sudden... since now we'll probably never know what the Kings were planning or capable of doing. Why keep a whole house hidden for 3 years and then write them off like that? Just something I ponder. It feels like a cheap story twist. A thing they wrote in 'just cus' and without too much thought as to why. And if there was a good reason... it hasn't been said yet. I wish they would eventually start answering all the questions they constantly throw at players. I mean... they are... but not really. I don't feel like waiting 3 more DLC to find out the Kings are the head of new Fallen conglomerate. Just tell me if it's that important and/or obvious.

The real question is why are we still shooting the fallen in a sequal?
-
Because they still want our stuff.
-
But they're enemies with us and the cabal. Do you really expect them to jus pick a side? They were md at us for 'stealing' their light, and now they're mad at the cabal, because now they have the light. They were hanging out around the shard of the traveler, so they were probably trying to get light, and then we came to the shard of the traveler looking for light, so they couldn't have been very happy about that.
-
They're jealous.
-
They don't shoot at me.
-
They are jealous of us having the travelers gift and they want it back
-
The enemy of my enemy is taking just advantage of the situation.
-
Because 1) just because another enemy's fleet shows up, that doesn't make us friends, and 2) the Fallen we fight are from none of the previous houses we've met. They don't know us and they don't know what's going on with the Almighty to see us as necessary allies.
-
Eh the Fallen aren't that bright after all. After D1, their like, "Ohh, Guardian!" and shoot anyway.
-
The Fallen will end up being the 4th playable race.
-
Probably because we destroyed all the houses and now they really are scattered and don't really have much leadership.
