Ability and gear synergie

Im gonna try something different on this forum, im not gonna complain or suggest how things should be different, but im gonna ask you guys how you make do with the tools that are available in the game as it is right now. I wish to do so by asking you if you have found weapons and armor that have synergy with eachother or work well together with eachother or certain specs-choices and attunements. and i would also like to ask if youve tested it, and how good you think it is. A few obvious examples are mida minitool and multitool - give speed bonusses when used together, I found this a nice combo since speed is always nice and both weapons are really good, and with one being a scoutrifle, and the other being an SMG, it gives a weapon for CQC as well as a weapon for longer range fights. good for PVE and PVP (at leasat, i'm guessing since i'm mainly casual PVE, and a pure shit pvp player XD) Drang and Sturm - give reloading perks when wielded at the same time (but having 2 sidearms sucks imho) Slightly less obvious, but immediatly reckognizable: KArnstein armlets with Voidwalker hunger-attunement - hunger lets you eat grenade or melee kill for devour buff that replenishes health. using the gloves gives energy back on melee hit and additional health regen, making for a really tanky warlock spec. i found this a really strong combo where you could just stand and kill wave after wave of lesser enemies. less usefull on yellows or bosses when there are no adds available, and mostly useless in pvp though. Very personal (what do you think?): Voidwalker hunger attunement with Origin story assualt rifle - since the spec forces very agressive play to be usefull, why not use an assault rilfe that requires you to do just that. The damage increase per kill fits well with this playstyle. pretty useless for pvp though since a team of 4 opponents doesnt allow for killing sprees long enough to keep this buffs up. Hard light with Dawnblade aerial attunement - If you cant aim for shit, like myself, airborn shots hitting the ground and ricochetting right back up in the vincinity of targets can be nice. not tested this in pvp but im guessing thisll only turn you into a hovering target in pvp, so again, i think usefull in PVE only. I am hoping some of you will share your personal findings, Itll be nice to see some cool ideas and try them out myself. Like i said, im pretty casual in Destiny 2 and progressing slowly with some friend. So i dont care about min-maxing, just looking for cool new ways to play. (I play Warlock only at the time, but feel free to post hunter and titan stuff too)

  • A great synergy is Better Devils, Coldheart, and Beringer's Memory with Dawnblade's Attunement of Sky. Using burst glide and high mobility, AoS is an amazingly mobile aerial fighting style where you hardly have to touch the ground. These 3 weapons have absolutely insane midair accuracy, making them the ideal choice for aerial combat. Better Devils has the added benefit of no damage falloff due to explosive rounds, and Coldheart has insane accuracy to compensate for its lack of range. Beringer's Memory is a really strong PVE heavy which can also be used in PVP for zoning off areas. A good exotic armor to use this strategy with is Sunbracers, because area control combined with midair movement is unbelievably versatile. Another great synergy is 9 mobility, Raiden Flux, the bottom tree of arcstaff, and two weapons with the lightweight frame perk. This allows you to move insanely fast in PVE and PVP, allowing you to actually dodge enemy attacks while gaining a huge advantage in strafing and chasing capabilities. Also you get unlimited dodge while arcstaff super is active, which combined with the high mobility allows you to relentlessly chase people down. Raiden Flux is also good in PVP because i have noticed my super drains way slower after getting 2 kills (maybe im mistaken, more testing is required) Lets not forget the absurdly powerful synergy of Riskrunner, Devour, and Karnstein Armlets / Winter's Guile. This strategy is best used on the Exodus Down strike, and allows a single Voidwalker to practically solo the entire encounter, especially against the boss. Riskrunner allows you to tank all the arc AOE damage during the boss fight while also dishing out absurd damage in return, rapidly healing and eliminating every overload shank. you dont even have to use your own rifts with this strategy, just leave them for your teammates!
