Takes over a hundred hours of game play to get to the point where some people start to complain there is "nothing to do". ...and that's only because they don't WANT to do what is available. Not because there is truly nothing to do.

Bearbeitet von BlessTheMic863: 10/25/2017 3:23:58 PMMore like there is no reason to do the limited content it does have. If I wanted to just run around and shoot the same crap over and over again on the same maps I could play CoD. When the endgame has no real rewards for doing it in a loot and shoot game there is problems.

Bearbeitet von kellygreen45: 10/25/2017 3:19:22 PMWhat did you think you were doing in Destiny 1....Warframe...Diablo 3 and every OTHER loot-based game for that matter? Or were you being distracted by the " real rewards" to the point you failed to notice? Nothing that goes on in any of these games is "real". The only thing different about the "endgame rewards" in these two games are the personal VALUE some gamers put on them. Not their REAL value....or even their Ingame value.

Fair enough. I know it’s not real life. Hey it’s my opinion as you are entitled to yours. I feel Bungie let the community down by releasing a sequel that failed to improve on many aspects of D1, failed to include many customization choices from D1, failed to include quality of life improvements from D1, and failed to make logical sense with many of their design choices. Does the game have awesome gunplay, graphics, and music, most certainly. That’s not enough to keep people playing past the campaign and the few milestones afterwards. Crucible players are moving on. Hardcore PVE players are moving on. It’s not just a few salty people on the forum there is a lot of Destiny fans that agree this game is subpar.

Bearbeitet von kellygreen45: 10/25/2017 4:58:41 PMNo matter what Bungie did, some faction of the community was going to feel this way because it has too many factions pulling it in too many directions. All gelling they're owed a game tailor made to their preferences. No game can be a pure MMO, a pure comp. FPS, a pure RPG, and a pure looter-shooter all at the same time. But people are too focused on "I want" and "I'm owed" to realize this. This was never designed to be a game that supported people endlessly grinding it everyday. Bungie keeps telling us this, and we keep ignoring them. They are ceding that market to Warframe.
